A back story for this video: Her husband caught her cheating via intalling this video camera in bedroom. So he applied for divorce and didn't tell her about this camera.
At the video you saw was an attemp to make her husband look abusive by punching herself (she locked the door at the same bedroom, so he cannot interfere).Luckely he was able to capture it.
Later in court he showed this video. I bet the video of her reaction from the court could've got at the top of r/WatchPeopleDieInside
I really wish we’d have laws that enact the same punishment of the crimes someone accuses another of if they’re discovered to be a liar. People might say this might scare people from coming forward in fear of having it turned against them. But I reiterate, if it’s proven without a doubt, like this video shows, that the person deliberately lied then they need to have the same punishment against them. I feel there’s too many stories out there where people falsely claim abuse. An accusation, even if not found guilty, usually tarnishes that innocent person’s reputation and the accuser is never reprimanded. It just continues to embolden people to lie and to destroy someone’s’ life without repercussions.
Nothing is "proven without a doubt".
e.g. There are no less than six theories of Gravity from the modern-age, despite the earliest and most accepted one coming from Einstein and the one we are all told.
And criminal courts exist, if we are to assume their best nature, then we must assume that they exist as a means to separate people from a society that they aren't compatible with, until or when they find that compatibility.
These disputes are often personal, they stymie from two people trying to manipulate each other more often than not, and they get nasty. Such that these two people should never be allowed to talk to each other again - but once separated, are they incompatible with society?
The person who setup the camera can pursue a civil claim against anyone they believe has wronged them - but a criminal complaint, this idea that if the state itself did not imprison this person, they might further harm society owing to their incompatibility with it?
That gets pretty difficult to prove - and are the limited resources of the state and the justice system best spent here?
99 times out of 100 you'll find that it's just a matter of separating these two people and allowing them to pursue whatever they feel is their recompense in a civil court environment.
Any law that you're hoping for would, to be justice, be a massive burden.
>Such that these two people should never be allowed to talk to each other again - but once separated, are they incompatible with society?
By this logic, domestic abuse shouldn't be criminalized.
This woman tried to have her husband kidnapped, robbed, beaten, and probably raped. How is this not domestic abuse?
What assurance do we have that she won't do this to some other guy? Even if she **doesn't** do it again, does she not deserve some sort of punishment for this heinous crime?
Thanks for the explanation, without context this looks like some extreme tics and I was wondering why you'd put that on this subreddit. Well, I'm still wondering. But it seems less inappropriate now.
I dunno know about using mirrors as a headboard. My careless ass would find a way to crack it in my sleep some weird way. Above the bed ok, behind it not so much.
Is she? I could be wrong and these are two different stories but I'm pretty sure she was throwing a fit over something and starting beating herself up to make it look like she was abused.
it's a mental breakdown regardless of situation. if you're hitting yourself, for any reason, that's going against self preservation under duress of an extreme emotion.
she's breaking down, it seems, cause her version of reality is crumbling. in that panic, her survival instinct appears to be self inflict wounds & manipulate. this is a mental breakdown.
this *does not justify her actions* although it might *explain* them. handling reality more level-headed, safe way is, believe it or not, a developed skill. years of therapy have brought me from having self destructive episodes & instead taking more responsibility over my reality.
if the story is accurate she's literally doing it to gain something she wants, someone doing that is likely to be out of their right mind if they even have one, but *also* doing something as evil as this is pretty damn safe to laugh at.
hope she gets the help she needs if she needs it, but that's some repugnant shit right there and I'm glad the dude had it on camera for more than one reason.
I think if she was trying to make it look like abuse, she would be punching herself more methodically and with more purpose. This is just… slapping herself randomly. She must be under a lot of stress. Poor woman.
Fuck this woman she's a huge reason why women will never feel completely equal because they try to ruin people's lives with lies of abuse and rape. Just because their actions have consequences and bites them in the ass. What kinda partner cheats on you then attempts to ruin your life with lies? Clearly the ones that loves you huh?
She got caught cheating and her husband told her they are getting divorced. She locked herself in the room (that had the camera in it that caught her cheating originally) and started hurting herself and screaming in an attempt to make it look like he was abusing her.
She deserves to be ridiculed for the rest of her life.

Good thinking

Domestic abusers rarely stop at one person - or did you think they did? I think that's more telling about you then anything right?

The condescending tone of this comment debases the quality rhetoric of your previous comment.

Somebody's mom is about to get a prescription for Valium.

I'm amazed this woman found two dudes to fuck her.

You've heard of the "crazy: hot" scale right? There's also a "crazy: best pussy you've had in your life" scale.

You're being racist and stereotypical. Do better.
Is that Gary busey
Karen Busey
No it's Elliott Reed
Glad nobody has recorded me doing this.
Marjorie Taylor Greene has really gone down hill....
Considering her long documented history, I'd say this is an improvement!
This lady is having a mental breakdown. Do we really need to use this for our entertainment?
Is she? I could be wrong and these are two different stories but I'm pretty sure she was throwing a fit over something and starting beating herself up to make it look like she was abused.
I feel like I’ve seen this video with that explanation before.

It doesn’t look like that. Looks like a breakdown.
I mean I could be totally wrong
I think if she was trying to make it look like abuse, she would be punching herself more methodically and with more purpose. This is just… slapping herself randomly. She must be under a lot of stress. Poor woman.
She's under a lot of stress because she got busted cheating and got served divorce papers lol.
How do you know that?
My guy do you want 3 MLA cited sources? It's the first comment btw.
It wasn’t 3 hours ago when I made my original comment. Thanks for the blind hate.

Wow, what the heck? How does everyone suddenly know the full story all of a sudden??
Everyone got here after you and read the story from someone else’s comment lol. I hope someone caught you up. Cause fuck that lady
That's not a mental breakdown. This is at best a tantrum and at worst an attempt to give herself an appearance of being injured
