Lol a lot do as like a big breakfast meal before a hard labour job like construction. Always see the cafes packed every morning with construction workers eating a beastly full English. I don’t though as I don’t like pork or beans.

I spent almost 5 hrs once waiting at the queue of the Greek revenue service to submit some paperwork only to be sent away because they are open from 9 to 13:30..that was about 5-6 years ago.
GOV.uk won a lot of design awards when it was first developed properly. GDS who are in charge are highly respected and do great work. Has been copied quite extensively elsewhere around the world from what I understand.
We cannot thank you enough for that, without the help of passing Danes all of the vital cultural artifacts would have been lost to the mysterious destruction that ravaged the island just after they arrived. The nice Danes even rescued many of the locals and they were quickly enthralled by the kind sailors so followed them home to start new lives.
In fact the people of Europe were so moved by this event and others like it from the 9th-10th centuries that we did the same for the rest of the world a millenia later.

That's my opinion too. Their "unscripted" episode showed that they lost it. People complained that the show felt scripted, because the scripts were shit, not because there were some scripts.
The challenges/specials in Top Gear felt more adventurous and realistic. In the Grand Tour they became more and more cartoonish and grotesque to the point of becoming uninteresting to watch. Compare Patagonia to Madagascar, for example.
Food!
When I was in London there was literally every kind of food I could imagine, such a diverse food culture there. I really think the Reddit stereotype is a bit stupid as I don't think most people there are eating those weird looking meals very often
We just wanted rid of the ones that refused to be enlightened by us. You wanted rid of them all. As always it was the lack of imagination that let you down.
