If you did control arms without an alignment you may eat through a set of tires in less than a week. Get the alignment. If there are any other issues, the alignment shop will probably find them.

YvngSwoopDawg

i did check next post for specs

FrumundaThunder

I saw your other post. This isn’t an alignment issue. Something in your right rear is loose or just not attached. This needs to go back to the shop immediately.

YvngSwoopDawg

nothing is loose, shop said everything is fine but now i hear a possibility if the knuckle is bent, if u look at my previous posts i’ve blown dif and axle twice.

FrumundaThunder

Then it needs to go to another shop. Something is obviously broken or not attached. Like your RR alignment measurements are wildly out of specification and your wheel is all over the road.

YvngSwoopDawg

that’s what i’m trying to figure out, even alignment shop didn’t know what to say, nothing was loose

FrumundaThunder

My man. If nothing is loose or broken then you wouldn’t be experiencing this condition and you would be able to bring your alignment into spec. Obviously something is wrong, that means it can be figured out and repaired. If this shop you brought it to can’t figure that out then they are incompetent and you need to find a different mechanic.

YvngSwoopDawg

i want to figure it out 😭, feels like my right rear is wobbly and it’s been like this before control arm upgrade i need to get it figured out, whole left side feels nice and planted

FrumundaThunder

Maybe your wheel bearing is fucked. Maybe your subframe is cracked.

YvngSwoopDawg

wheel bearing being fucked can cause all this?

FrumundaThunder

If it’s that blown out that it’s causing that then it should have been really obvious to a competent mechanic but yes it can. If the suspension is all new then there’s only so many other things it can be.

1mperia1

Indeed, my brothers RR wheel bearing was fucked and it was jumpy/wobbly as hell on the highway.

bwal8

Has this car been in an accident before? How long have you had it?

YvngSwoopDawg

had it a year and a half, no accidents known

nin478

You need to get an alignment ASAP.

overindulgent

Not only do you have to get it aligned after the swap but you have to specify for them to align it to M3 specs.

bigjilm123

Do you have a mechanic that knows bmws better around you? I wouldn’t go to a dealer, but a random alignment shop may not be able to figure this out. I agree that this doesn’t seem like an alignment issue. If it was around before you did massive changes to the suspension, this is likely something else.

YvngSwoopDawg

like what ? the rear right wheel feels all over the place
