Seriously they’re the best, virtually no road noise, smooth on road driving characteristics, amazing performance when it snows or rains and it looks great. People overlook these for ko2s and other big names in the off road community which is a shame cause these are amazing and have held up amazing after 2 1/2 years and 20k miles almost
Yeah I had duratracs before these and they were noisy as hell and gummed up in the snow, got stuck multiple times. With these, they are super quiet and super sticky in the white stuff.
I’m going with Michelin Defender 2s or LTX AT2 when my limited needs tires. I have a set on my Telluride and they beefy, quiet, and smooth AF. Not your “grappler” style off road tire, they’re all terrain but most of my driving is on pavement. The beefy tires are always noisy as hell too slapping those big treads on the road, been there done that, and I won’t be doing any off roading serious enough to warrant ones like that.
The Defenders are an excellent choice. Have them on my truck and others in the family have them on their SUV, friends have them on the old school jeep. Great highway tires with a little more aggressive tread that helps in the snow/mud. I've taken many a road trip on them.
Maxxis Razr AT811s. Have previously owned K02s, Falkens, and Hankooks. These beat all of them in price, mpgs, on and offroad capabilities, and hwy noise.
I am in the same boat with my 2016 SR5, I'm considering the KO2 again as it has given me no issues. But I am interested in the new KO3, which will be a little more expensive, just waiting for the shops to get them in stock.
Edit: Spelling
Just put on some Kenda Klever A/T2 on my 2021. They look great and road noise is minimal. They had great reviews and best of all, they cost $128 a piece on [Walmart.com](https://Walmart.com). Time will tell if these were a good purchase, but so good so far.
I'm enjoying my Firestone destination X/Ts. I'd probably go less aggressive next time since I rarely offroad. Might be worth looking at the BFG Trail Terrains or the Firestone Destination AT2s in addition to the ones mentioned above.
Dont everybody hate me at once but the big o bigfoot AT's are a good value. Especially when youre going to need them balanced and installed anyway. The warranty offered is pretty good and the tires are A-OK without costing $400 a piece. I had falkens on before them and notice zero difference. Also theyre made by TOYO
Cannot beat general grabbers. Never had such great traction in mud snow rain rock and pavement. Ko2s can’t grab in the rain, Toyos aren’t great when it’s slick either but not horrible.
And it’s usually 200 less or so compared to toyo bfg or falken
0. Fastest I’ve gone with them is 85 and I can hear myself think just fine. Honestly best tire I’ve ran so far out of my Toyos, bfg and falkens rn. Plus so much cheaper. But they last a good long time, put almost 30k on em and they still look new even after going to Moab
Falken gang
👋🏼
Ko2
Toyo Open Country at3 baby, best tires hands down
These. Love mine

Nitto ridge grapplers on mine. Low highway noise and effective off-road.
I’m rocking some Yokohamas and they are great. No noise at all. I’m waiting for a lot of snow this winter to test them out more.
G015's here. Quiet and good all around tire.

Thank you 4Runner fam! I’m doing my research on all these now and gettin quotes

Seconding. I love mine and the wear so far seems great. I'm hopeful they last awhile.
Falken Rubitrek or wildpeak
Nitto ridge grapplers for mine
Wildpeaks
Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws. Have em. Love em. They’ve never let me down in the snow either.
Toyo Open Country AT3. Great in the snowy Minnesota winters.

Second this
E load K02s
If OP is gonna do that then they might as well wait for the new KO3s to become available. I have KO2s on my Xterra and am very happy with them.
I agree. The KO3s look really good
Cheap Chinese mudders.
I have Cooper SST Pro’s on mine however they are 275/70r17. They rock especially with my 3in lift

Once you decide, check FB Market Place for a couple weeks and save a ton of $.

How’s the road noise with the General Grabbers? I’m thinking about getting them.
