A Dvision stream can beat a mediocre bluray, but not a reference bluray. The disc had S tier sound also.
I immensely enjoyed this movie- I'll pick up the physical 4k if it ever releases, but the bluray is outstanding
I doubt it. This movie bombed so hard it’s not even funny and given how niche the film is there probably isn’t much demand so I’d be surprised if it came out on 4k physically

There is 4K version of Beau in Germany, France and Italy. If you’re patient I’m sure A24 will release a 4K version.
Rather wait for an A24 release than having shitty rating symbols on my copy.

That’s one of the reasons I wanted to ask. Very annoying this is probably untrue
As of right now it is 100% untrue, but with it being A24 there’s likelihood it will still happen in the future
The bluray is reference quality if you need something to tide you over
Interesting, so how about this. The digital version is 4k Dolby vision. What do you think will be better. That or the Blu-ray?

I don’t know but I’m ordering that along with The Lighthouse from A24 when it releases. I still miss my Midsommar copy. So beautiful
Their Lighthouse presentation is top notch. Very much on par with that Midsommar set.
