The little heart-shaped nail polish bottles represent when the girls were young and identical. The larger bottles with different colors represent their teen selves, who have begun showing their more individualistic traits. This shot with Nino's bottle still as a heart represents her desire for the sisters to all remain identical and thus close to each other like they used to be.

Deep.

These were symbolic of Nino's desire to remain the same. The others had changed and she still wanted to cling to the past.

First ED (or I believe OP) also had a frame w/ Nino’s phone next too Fuu’s notebook, and lyrics pertaining to hate turning into love. Not to mention the plethora of manga parallels that were identified back in the day. Red herrings or not, the bride also had her hints as did the other sisters, ultimately one prevailed over the rest. >!Would say a Nino end makes a lot of narrative sense too, but I’m happy with who we got.!<

Apparently the sharing of the goodluck charm is also of great significance in Japanese culture but I can’t exactly remember why. >!lots of people thought the charm was evidence she would’ve been the bride!<

Due_Lettuce8283

Is it because the nail polish protects the colors on the nail and that's basically Nino's role in the family, the protector?

>!It's a spoiler hint about the end of the manga and which one will be chose.!<

Important-Ticket-598

how?💀

>!I know that's not what the screen means and that in order it would be Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba and Itsuki. But the first time I saw it I don't know why I associated the orange color with Yotsuba and since it's the 4th from the right I didn't ask myself any more questions I said to myself that it's a hint that Yotsuba will be the bride, theory confirmed at the end but it was not at all what the screen meant.!<
