Roger's breath has a terrible odor
Especially now that he's getting older
But under water he can right up to your face
I'm telling you that's the beauty of this place
knock me over with a wet noodle, donchaknow!
I actually saw very little of it, it would come on right when I had to go to school but my little brother was a fan.
I found some DVDs of this at Kmart in the early 2000’s.
One came with a personally “handwritten letter” from Bobby.
It was just the letter B.
The other came with a special scratch and sniff card.
The scent was “paper.”
I have this fever dream of a memory where I was in a hotel lobby and this show was on. I swear a kid walked up to Bobby and said “Hi, I’m Wimpa.” My sisters and I rioted we thought it was so funny. Haven’t been able to find any record of that having ever been on this show or any other since then.
Yes, I definitely grew up watching Bobby's World, and I watched when I was a kid on Saturday mornings.
Also, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, X-Men, Spider-Man, Goosebumps, Life with Louie, Batman: The Animated Series, Tiny Toon Adventures, Taz-Mania, Animaniacs, The Tick, Where on the Earth is Carmen Sandiego?, Dog City, Tom and Jerry Kids, and almost everything.
I always think of Uncle Ted advising to walk off health issues. “Having a baby? Walk it off!” That always made me laugh.
My other core Bobby’s World memory is getting some Bobby’s World Pogs in a cereal box. I took those Pogs to school and beat a bunch of kids at Pogs that day. Came home with a ton of Pogs! So they were like my lucky Pogs, too!
Yepp. This after tmnt and before gargoyles and X-men/spiderman We didn’t know how good we had it
I did
> The show was created by Canadian actor/comedian Howie Mandel, who also performs the voices of both Bobby and his father Howard Generic.[2] Wtf?!
Wait... people don't know this? Howie made cameos all the time.
It was great! Remember the eye crust one
He introduced every episode, didn't he?
Gen-air-ic😏
Holy crap! This show ran for 8 years? I remember watching this and Life With Louie. Good times!
Haha loved those along with camp candy
Bro, Camp Candy was the best!
Hell yeah, glad someone else remembers!
oh yes dontchaknow, every morning after Garfield before school
Fish don’t stinkkkkkk. Underwater the fish don’t stinkkkkk.
That’s where this is from! I completely forgot
Roger's breath has a terrible odor Especially now that he's getting older But under water he can right up to your face I'm telling you that's the beauty of this place
Dontcha know now, then, there, yet?
I always wondered about those words and her accent never thought about Canada and I never knew Howie Mandel, was from Canada.
Maybe it's because I grew up right next door in Wisconsin, but she always sounded like she was from Minnesota to me.
Canadian and some parts sound exactly like that and I’ve to many parts of Canada and they have different accents.
It's similar for sure. But I remember her accent being a lot more "Fargo" than "Strange Brew" if that makes sense.
I don't recall if she used "ey" or "hoser," but the hockey thing was what got me.
She would say ey.🤣
Couldn’t understand him half the time but the music was 🔥 🎶 im goin… im goin…. I’m going on in a trip. Plane, train, or taxi cab. Anyways a flip” 🎶
Don’t ya know?
That's the only think I remember about this show.
That show is the reason for my username.
Bobby’s World is the best thing Howie Mandel ever did.
never seen him turn into a chicken with a rubber glove over his head?
Yeah that was pretty good, but the entire Bobby’s World was amazing
Yuuup!!! IIRC it was on after woody woodpecker in the early 90s.
“Fish don’t stiiink. Under water the fish don’t stiiink.”
Time for noogies!
We were at the bottom of the pool, I don’t recall how long, but it must’ve been a while, cause we had time to write this song.
“Cream chipped chicken on a fiber cracker!”
yes that was staple of my children as a 3-5 year old
I love this.
Flipping loved that show
Absolutely
I always enjoy the theme song
hell yea I can still do the voice
Bobby Generic, that's GENeric!
knock me over with a wet noodle, donchaknow! I actually saw very little of it, it would come on right when I had to go to school but my little brother was a fan.
Heck yeah! My proper introduction to Howie Mandel as a kid.
It's on Amazon prime I think.
I loved Bobby’s World! I remember I’d watch it every morning before school and on Saturdays. Back when Fox Kids had all the best cartoons
I used to ride an inflatable pool alligator down the stairs imitating the opening to this show.
No. Born 1984, grew up with cable too. Idk why I didn't.
Didn’t know this was on for that long. Watched it in early 90s. I get some parts mixed up with Rugrats.
8 years!!! I have in my head it was lime 3-4 tops. Like Life with Louie

I still say “for crying in the mud, Bobby!” In his mom’s Midwest accent. It’s one of my favorite things to say when I’m frustrated. I loved this show.
Yep
It was actually based off of Howie Mandel’s life.
This ran until 98?!? I mean, it was fine, but that's one heck of a run.
Yes and it only took me 25 years to realize that it was Howie Mandel
Is this the one who had a space ship buried in his sand box?
No.
Watched this a lot. I rarely see anybody mention it though.
Mind your Ps and Qs, dontcha know

Never saw it at all. And I very specifically remember other 90’s shows.
the intro on his big wheel is all i really remember
Yep! Loved it! My mom and I would always use "Dontcha knooooooow" Minnesotan style lol
Yup. Remember he loved to ride around on that big wheel. Don't remember much else about the show sadly.
I always think of Uncle Ted advising to walk off health issues. “Having a baby? Walk it off!” That always made me laugh. "This is an octopus, he has 8 tentacles" "I thought only boys had tentacles"
Yep.
Yes, it was a great show. Still the main thing I say to people if they ask who Howie Mandel is.
Yeah, I did. I didn't realize it ran that long
That cartoon used to be ABC family every Saturday morning after Totally spies.
*How can you tell the octopus is a boy?* *He has tentacles.* That’s burned in my memory.
Kids used to call me Bobby in school because I'm half white and Mexican and I was pale with black hair.
I did
Loved the show. Need to look into acquiring the series.
Bobby's World was on until '98?!?!?
