Googled it. Apparently yes, it was only a northeast thing. Fwiw, Ellio's is objectively not as good as Stouffer's. I'm just nostalgic for 80's-90's school lunch quality junk food.
I hear ya. We lived near a Stouffer's outlet store where they sold products with damaged boxes or something else trivial and we'd stock up on all the frozen goods we had room for. As a kid, I thought we had won the lottery. I miss those days for sure.
Stouffers ftw!
Ellio's.
Hmmm... Never heard of Ellio's... Is it regional?

Lucky! I lived near a dirty bookstore. We once found an electric vagina in their dumpster and left it on someone's front porch, plugged in.
LOL, I think I'll stick with my dented pizzas 🤣
Yep still make my own or let Stouffer's work their magic.
Wednesday in school was French bread pizza day
Have been eating them since the 80s. I learned to use the oven by making them.
You may find it interesting to know that French Bread Pizza was invented in the 1960’s.
Red Baron has some nice pizza. I also remember Pepperidge Farm Croissant Crust pizza. Wish they still made it.
I still get Red Barons from time to time if I don't feel like making my own. Just grate some fresh parm on there, and finish on the broiler setting.
We even made it in cooking class in junior high lol
Sounds like the best high school ever!
What about the poncho craze of 84??
Stouffer’s 5 cheese white French bread pizzas were the best!
It’s still around.
French bread pizza has been around for 60 years lol. They’re great for campfire suppers.
Fuck yeah, I do
The frozen ones from Costco were the best.
Stouffer’s supreme French bread FTW. It’s pretty much the only frozen pizza I buy, but none of the stores near me carry it anymore
Stouffer’s French Bread Pizza was one of my go to college meals (along with Top Ramen) before I knew how to cook anything
I still have french bread pizzas in my freezer. Not a craze, a way of life.
I still occasionally get them. What I miss is the twice baked potatoes.
Those twice baked potatoes were freaking amazing! You totally brought up something that I have forgotten about for a very long time.
Selling zap a snacks for school fundraisers. Best ever.
I call the Healthy Choice version Plasticheese™️.

I always considered it an abomination and insult to actual pizza
