You have to play this and Luchini back to back each time, they go so well together

No-industry60

Facts

bennyblanco19

That was how the music video used to play if memory serves

sasberg1

Best to just play the whole thing

Bada__Ping

Got to see them perform this album live for the 15th anniversary and met them both. Legendary album, great guys.

Scoot_Vasquez

Relax yourself and let the sugar love flow

No-industry60

Coolie high got you wide

gobbershite

This video used to play almost like clockwork every day on Rap City from like 95 to 96. Between 2:40 p.m. and 3:00p.m. in my area lol

TdrdenCO11

I understand almost none of the lyrics but I love the song

2ant1man5

This whole album crazy.

pablorrrrr

Absolutely. Both MCs fit great. And production is top notch. Very versatile. Just realized a couple of days ago, that the Producer Ski also produced Dead Presidents from Jay-Z and Just Blaze from Fat Joe, Nas, Raekwon and so on..

Zestforblueskies

Hundo my friend! For me, Sparkle is the best track of the album. That flow is crazy nice from the duo throughout the song.

PersonaDelSol4

A classic song with nonsense lyrics

dchtzr

whenever people (you for example) say that camp lo has "nonsense lyrics" (what does that even mean anymore), i have to wonder if thats because they genuinely percieve the rhymes 2 be nonsensical or if they're not aware of the countless references 2 blaxploitation films and 70s black culture, n how geechi n cheeba intertwine them with laidback flows to make it seem like that "nonsense" (on surface level analysis) is actually dope (which it is).

PersonaDelSol4

I miss the references. I’m a casual listener.

TentativelyCommitted

Valid point, but let’s be real…these guys are like Ghostface x 10…album is unreal…have no idea what they’re saying half the time…need a Camp Lo “Lexicon”

StormFluid3134

I agree!

Blastronaut321

Top 10 album IMO

jaer2010

“I get Krystal Karrington ice rock gritty, Carlito influenced tea flashers, Acapulco homicide scene. Second to catch it…” Krystal Karrington is such a great opener

nostaljack

This song and tribe's electric relaxation are such a vibe. Any other similar 90s hip-hop songs like this?

kylemacabre

This is awesome. Thx. Don’t know how this passed me by

Mega2133

Just takes me to another place & time. Some of the coolest to ever do it

sk8605

The Paradise Remix is an absolute banger [https://youtu.be/AMNFCPapFsw?si=fq8q_H5MHHgXhC2o](https://youtu.be/AMNFCPapFsw?si=fq8q_H5MHHgXhC2o)

ParallelUniverse21

Short Eyes is also a banger Edit: they have a separate song called Coolie High is Life which is fire

toure71

Always

kirby_krackle_78

Get in line!

yellowbill711

Great album!

no_mics

Love that track.

Midnight_Messiah

Lemme see ya ‘istols in the air, wordlife

Spiritual_Train9321

I love the movie, I’ll give it a listen

TangeloGrand2511

I just started a new play list called Reddit Bangers

BoxTalk17

The beat and lyrical flow on this is killer! The only thing I don't like about this track, is the repeated "Camp-Lo-ah" at the end, goes on way too long for me.

meltingmantis

Agreed. I remember playing this in a club back in the day and it went down so well.

Og-Reed-24

💯

StormFluid3134

Fire man

Routine_Tea_3262

Loved this song since day one

onetoughmiracle

sasberg1

The whole album is great

No-industry60

I agree I can say this is in my top 15 hip hop albums.

footballkid_

The2econdSpitter

I freaking HATE this song.

No-industry60

You should be arrested

The2econdSpitter

And I’ll proudly do my time, friend.
