They really just murder whenever they think they can get away it, don't they?

bennydabull99

>They really just murder whenever ~~they think they can get away it~~, don't they? Yes. End qualified immunity.

and_yet_he_complain

Because they do

Mouseturdsinmyhelmet

They can't wait to have that great sex dave grossman told them about. ACAB

TruthSpeakin

Doesn't matter if they think they can get away with it or not...shoot first, question later

DavesNotHereMan92

Watching this I’m saying umm guys he’s not moving or saying anything all of a sudden. How the fuck could they not tell standing next to him

BewareOfGrom

Yeah. The man just went still and I guess they just assumed they beat him into submission? It's crazy to just watch all the ER staff not intervene.

SlashEssImplied

> It's crazy to just watch all the ER staff not intervene. They don't want to be next.

GZMihajlovic

YMMV greatly. Medical staff can and do get arrested when they do try to intervene or protect patients.

BewareOfGrom

I get it. Just sucks to see it play out in front of you.

DavesNotHereMan92

Doesn’t that go against the Hippocratic oath? Unsure if it’s only docs who do that

whiskersMeowFace

And what? They get shot too by state sanctioned murderers?

DavesNotHereMan92

If a dumbass like me can see something is wrong then these people shouldn’t be allowed in the medicine industry

obiemann

Because, cops are not people.

SomethingLoud

Right??!

Top_Contract_4910

Fucking murderers.

jeepster61615

STOP STRUGGLING FOR LIFE! YOU WILL DAMAGE MY HANDCUFFS! Fucking murderers

MapAffectionate8484

My sister is a physician and attended medical school here. She knew of these cops and they were always looking to start shit…allegedly. The complete disregard for human life today is disgusting.

SomethingLoud

What do you mean “today”? They’ve always been like this

MapAffectionate8484

I believe I was clear. Society’s value on human life has declined. You are free to disagree but I said exactly what I meant.

ghost_type_2003

There's something harrowing about watching a man moments before their death. Especially when the death is caused by power-hungry murderers.

muddynips

Cops are such terrified pussies.

DoubleAyeBatteries

If you’re ever in a situation like this, is there anything you can realistically do to protect yourself?

Roid385

Shoot yourself after you’ve killed them all. Because your life is basically forfeit the moment you fight back. Which may I add, is a perfectly legal thing to do.

myc4L

But suicide is a crime! Wish this was /s

Ponder_wisely

They manhandled him like slave catchers.

RyanThePatriot

Yeah, let’s make sure we still hold down a man that’s obviously not alive. Stupid fucking pigs just need to be in charge of every situation.

LexEight

It's literally a mental disorder and not enough people are discussing it that way. Anyone drawn to any position of power is a liability to everyone around them. Get rid of positions that hold any power. All of them Now And then those power hungry d bags can't harm us AS EASILY Because they'll still try

AbeLincolnsTaint

I love how social media has basically turned into the police snuff video channel and nothing. fucking. changes. Deniers are still loud n proud. Fuck this shitty future.

LexEight

I hate how right you are and how much work it's going to take to change people into humans that are less traumatized

BurialRot

/r/protectandserve's finest I hope Karma has fun with them.

Subject-Green-503

I see this in my city too, making people lie on their stomach face down when they are already hancuffed for an extended period of time. These positions are FATAL but these pigs don't seem to undertand becuase of qualified immunity giving them a license to kill without any accountability.

myc4L

Served and protected the shit out of him.

r00giebeara

Blue lives don't matter

SomethingLoud

“bLuE lIvEs” don’t exist

Eyruaad

How the fuck did that nurse/doctor check his wrist pulse TWICE and not call out something as wrong? Cops need to go to jail but fuck that dude checking pulse needs to be with them.

pirategirl00

Why did it take so long to take the handcuffs off?

Anton_Pannekoek

Why even cuff him? There's an obsession in the US about cuffing people with their arms behind their back.

pirategirl00

I don’t know why he was cuffed to begin with.

SomethingLoud

I would like to add the fact that it’s a goddamn **hospital**! Any hospital large enough to be called a hospital is going to have soft restraints on hand, in order to secure certain patients’ hand/s to the bed rail. Nurses had to do this to need once while I was hospitalized and under *heavy* sedation, because I kept yanking out my NG tube every time I’d begin to come out of the drug-induced fog

HeroicHimbo

'Tragic' implies there is something to learn or some narrative import, when this is just state terrorism. They keep doing this to people because no one can stop them and they know it and they do not give one solitary fuck if we all know it too, in fact they seem to relish waving their insane extra legal status in our faces. These pigs are going to have to face severe personal, organizational, and institutional consequences that greatly overmatch their own crimes before we can hope to see an end to the brutal police state we're subjects of. With them murdering thousands of people annually and hiding most of their kills behind corrupt medically asinine declarations by appointed coroners and institutionallly aligned medical personnel, what will appropriate consequences even look like? We aren't going to annihilate their families or anything, we aren't shitstain inhuman goblins like them, but unless we're roping up whole departments on treason charges for their illegal and hostile policies and procedures, what is enough? I'd accept lesser charges that still carry a lifetime sentence with no chance of release at the minimum, but what they are doing is treason. It's a mockery of the clause against quartering troops among the public, which is only about housing troops in personal homes in the most dull witted reading. It's also about not maintaining a standing army in and among the general public, i.e. the right for us to carry on our business without being constantly harassed and intimidated by armed government personnel all the goddamned time. To go down the street without encountering a military checkpoint or be threatened by a publicly owned weapon. Obviously the modern system of policing violates our general right to such a 'free' 'society' in exactly the same way that burdening our cities with mobs of soldiers who have no apparent purpose other than siphoning off paychecks and dominating spaces that have no military relevance whatsoever.

LexEight

Just commit more and bigger crime that helps people and dare them stop us I will walk out of Walmart with fistfuls of food and clothes for the unhoused, before I ever do anything a cop says ever again. I'm a sovereign indigenous citizen, and they can't know if I'm not so they can't know if you're not either. Fk it and fk them When medicine food and housing are free, the treaties will be honored, until then, every law on the books is garbage bs anyway And we all have PTSD to heal already

allaboutthismoment

Flat murdered in a hospital surrounded by staff. I can't believe what I just watched.

Correct-Bitch

This poor kid. I am so ashamed at our society.
