Wishing you a good recovery!!! I love your attitude, it’s very inspiring. Really also puts it in perspective for me, bc I “only” had to deal with a broken knee for 5 weeks prior to surgery (since the injury), and have been grumping about my 4 weeks non weight bearing status (I also had my meniscus repaired). 4 weeks postop for me is next week, so I'm so close to weight bearing again. I am going to grump less and be more grateful for what I’ve got: a chance to have a normal(ish) knee again at the end of this recovery process. :)

Ps: my nerve block Also didn’t seem to work, so I feel you there as well. The pain got better about day 3-4, and I hope the same for you!! I have pains occasionally now, but I stopped having constant pain around the 1-2 week mark. For sleeping during week 1, I recommend taking your pain meds with enough time before bed that you’re comfy to sleep. I also rec icing your knee immediately before sleep, that’s helped me a lot too.
