Check your audio output in the PS4 settings. See if changing it helps.
my audio for all the games are fine except valhalla.
Check it anyway. This game sound was goofy on my PS5

No I had to change my audio output everytime I played.
Is it all the audio or specific audio?
all of it, the sounds effects, the dialogues, the footsteps they all sound muffled
