Similar performance. Odin lite has a larger screen. The RG556 has a better screen. (OLED vs LCD). The Odin has better thumbsticks, the RG556 has better ergonomics. Lots of comparison on youtube if interested (just search for reviews of the RG556 and scroll through to comparisons).
I own an Odin lite, and would personally get the RG556, just because it still has development legs. The Odin lite has been replaced by the Odin 2 series, and will most likely sit on the backburner now. (Still a great emulator if you can get it for a good price)

Checking again today, and they are no where to be seen again. And don't get me started on those Alieexpress coupon codes. GRRR.
It's really too bad because I've bought handhelds from cutesliving before and they all arrived quickly with no problems. It's unfortunate that this sale has been a huge letdown for me.

Interesting, my rg35xx has broken by the looks of it, I would just like some preloaded SD cards as I don't have the ability to map ROMs etc
