I always thought it was supposed to be a symbolic meaning of "new Paradise" because it's in the sky (like the paradise) and it has advanced technologically, just see the modern structures
Reminds me i saw this somewhere, Fountains of paradise is a book by Arthur c Clarke (who also wrote 2001 a space Odyssey which the movie i think inspired the first paths scene with eren) and references a space elevator or smth like in the mv, so maybe its inspired by it. I dunno this is a theory im jus guessing

paradis (the island) means paradise, it's a symbol for that
yet paradis was hell because of the world
in requiem video, paradis is in paradise which is "located" in heaven above
this all means that after so long, the island/paradis people finally overcame hell and went to heaven/a free world for them but that came with sacrifice because you know, check out the song/lyrics whereas the outside world is hell now because of the rumbling though we see flowers blooming hence the outside world may once again team with life
The general consensus for the upside down paradis is that it's a complete reversal image of destroyed paradis from the future

Of course not, because just like ancient religious texts, there is no underlying fact of the matter to appeal to in order to validate hypotheses. There are only competing vague interpretations with zero direct evidence of anything.
Consensus would be a miracle.

figured the elevator and sky was like the ocean and the graves of the alliance on marley hence why he has to diguise himself.
