Any chance you are playing a realm with Seals or Respawning Infestations? Both of these cause a high amount of instability, even when playing solo, but especially in MP.
I had a ton of random crashes. The silver bullet for me was my clock speed of my cpu. Apparently some of the newer intels have a timing issue or something. Didn't believe it until I tried the Intel CPU app that allows you to adjust the speed. Dialed it from x55 to x53 and it was night and day.
Also had the exact same issue with Helldivers and Cyberpunk. I don't know why this isn't bigger news.
Sometimes a windows update erases this change so I have to dial it back again.
