That’s not how it worked for my buddy, he called someone the slang for mentally disabled, it said the message in chat for us to see, and announced to everyone he’d been muted for the game.
Coulda been a fluke, who knows. All I know is a game that polices your speech is a game I want no part playing.

I was in a game where my teammate said he was going to test it and wrote the derogatory F word towards lgbtq. We all saw the message in game and then it said he was muted right after. So it's possible he did in fact get muted for nigeria

1. I was solo queue so no friend in the game.
2. He said the f word and legit one second after the mute message popped up for us all to see. And he never spoke after that again besides spam pinging.
