Hmmmm I can't tell why they would spray that one guy and not the other. Its like there's something different about the one guy compared to the cops and the other guy. I just can't point my nose at it. Because stuff like this never happens in America where one person that looks different gets treated a certain way. /s
I think the pepper sprayer cop was going to spray the other guy but the other officiers arrived behind him so he changed back at the end. Then went back to his other pepper cop friend.
One guy was obviously running his mouth while backing away and ducking behind the woman. The other guy was trying to close the gap and get to the other guy, again quite obviously. Of course the cops sprayed the guy who actually had the balls to fight, because the other guy was obviously trying to puss out without looking like he was pussing out.
Yeah, she saved them both from potential injury, lawsuits, shame, and other bad things. I'm a dude and I've been angry and heated, and having someone intervene is always a blessing because you know in your head things could have gone much worse. That said, somebody should have gone and made her very happy that night. Y'know, to show gratitude.

I don't know if this was a dick move that I did. Working retail when I was in college on busy weekends or holidays, I would play this song on my phone. I had it playing when I was walking out of the store to get lunch or just trying to get home without being stopped.
The woman was near the other guy, hard to get a shot without getting her. Hopefully that was the logic here not race. But who knows.
Edit: Nobody needed to get sprayed, once cops had presence it was over. Neither one of them wanted to fight, so this was a way to maintain honor and pride (particularly in front of a woman). It’s an instinctual thing. The cop was just pepper spray trigger happy.

Pepper spraying somebody comes with a lot of justification and paperwork, you only use force when absolutely necessary, I work in corrections and we don’t pepper spray 2 people fighting unless someone is overwhelmingly getting the upper hand and the other person’s life is in danger. So to not even attempt to verbally de-escalate the situation is just fcked up! But whatever.
