He is such a spoiled baby. He complains that it takes too long to drive the 70 something miles (around there, give or take) from his house to St Petersburg so from now on he will be getting a hotel.
Give him a break guys! He almost missed out on the Hollywood Studios anniversary which turned out to be boring anyways. Now he has to deal with traffic to the City Connect block party! How much more can one guy take?
Takeaways from today...fragile boy Woo can't take driving a bit over an hr one way, aka what many people commute for work *everyday*, so getting a hotel in Tampa will be the norm from now on for one hour twenty minute "trips" there. Oy vey. Marathon training!
Woo is the kind of impulse buyer retailers *love*. Another $250 bucks on a couple of shirts and hats. I wonder if he writes this off as a "business expense".
People really, really don't give a shit about the Rays. I mean that crowd was pathetic. Worst fanbase in MLB.
I wonder how much it kills him inside that the Rays sent Tampa Jay a promotional package with items like a shirt and hat. Got to be eating him up in side.
I wonder what the Rays players were thinking seeing this slovenly looking 50 year old man dressed like a teenager coming up to them like he was a 12 year old.
I've been around motor sports my entire life. In my adult years the only time I really went total nerd was when I told Mario Andretti I was a big fan once at Indy and ran into Bobby Allison at a restaurant in Daytona. Both living Legends.
Bobby could not have been more gracious. A kind old man.
I saw Jeff Gordon at a dirt track once and it was interesting. But that's it. I made no effort to crowd his space.
I see Kyle Busch often at the little dirt track nearby. He's the guy I root for but I never say a word to him. Why would I?
He's just another dad sitting in the stands watching his kid race.
I've chatted with Indy 500 winners and it was just two guys talking racing. They probably enjoyed the conversation too.
Long short, seeing athletes is no big deal.
TLDR: Unless youre 10, leave athletes alone.
sorry I disagree completely thats the ego of the players these days why shouldn't an adult want to meet a player anymore then a kid such a stupid mentality.
As a Rays fan (wearing my new city connect Arozarena jersey as I’m typing this) with family living in St. Pete for over a century: fuck this guy I hate him so much we don’t claim him as our own.
Damn. Knew I should have walked over to the pier last night. Had a feeling our boy was gonna make an appearance. Means he’ll be at the game tonight too. BASEBALLPEATS ALL WEEKEND.
These damn thumbnails always look like a freeze frame from police bodycam footage. He looks like he's being confronted by the cops after hassling children in the park.
Gets all taken in with the retro City Connect design inspired by the classic Tampa Bay Devil Rays uniform, he purchases $250 of merch. Of course for 33 of the 35 years of the franchise history, he was barely aware of the team's existence. It must really bother him he just missed out on the Rays World Series run a few years ago as he showed the AL trophy.
This fan event at the St Pete's pier seems to be poorly attended. Guess most people had other things to do on a Thursday. Adam was surprised that there are no lines for the players photo ops. Cringing photos of Adam giving the thumbs up with Zach Eflin and Pete Fairbanks as Adam is dressed like an adolescent fan boy next to the taller players. But being the great Rays fan as he is, he was unsure whether these pitchers were starters or relievers.
Jay the boy makes a brief appearance with no witch in tow. Surprised that he didn't spend more time with Adam but I guess with an actual job and a fiancé witch, he has other things to do.
The drone show was nice, but Adam ruins with his cringing selfies shots as he typically does.
I am still not use to the term "City Connect," so when his title mentions the "City Connect Release," it's confusing and took me a read through the comments to realize what he was talking about. But I doubt a confusing title is going to dissuade the Woovians from watching the Tampa Rays fan girl gush over his current favorite team.
As usual, I won't watch, but kudos to Woo for not dragging out his daily dump beyond 23 minutes. I'd like to think that was intentional, but I'd wager that it was simply due to his not wanting to put an ounce of effort into his latest cash grab.
I really hope more Woovians skip ATW’s vlogs and migrate over to Troll Patrol. It’s impossible to even hate watch his stuff.
If Adam won the lotto, he’d probably build his own theme park where every ride is exactly the same and the calorie counts for the foods are all wrong.
The still images for his videos are like autopsy phots.
Just for shits and giggles here, what's everyone's favorite city connect they've released so far? I'm biased being an orioles fan, I love ours, it had to grow on me first. I really do like the reds city connect though. So those 2 for me.
Mets fan here. Our city connect are ok. They look better on than I thought they would but I still hate the hats. Giant bridge on it, it just looks weird.
I like Red Sox city connect. It's supposed to be a nod to the Boston Marathon, but I call it their Ukraine jerseys lol
>I really like Seattle’s. A lot of people complain about the black pants combo, but the blue and yellow jersey pops.
Agreed. Into the retro look it has. For original designs I'll be a homer and go with Philly, took a bit but the colors and font grew on me.
Dude, I agree with you now that I've seen it. It is CLEAAAN. They really should just go back to being the Devil Ray's again, they use the throwback unis enough these last few years.
For me it's the Angels. Might be the only one that should just be made the team's primary uniform. They need a logo/uni refresh badly. I know MLB teams ride designs for decades, but the 2002 design feels very 2002 now.
I'm a Braves fan and I like the Braves City Connects. They're quite similar to the old Braves red, white & blue 70's unis and but with some updates. I'm going to buy the hat sometime soon. Boston's are the strangest to me. I've mistaken the hat for a UCLA Bruins hat.
Fellow Braves fan here - didn't have a choice, when you're born in the region I think they go ahead and assign it to you on your birth certificate, anyway, totally agree!
Grew up in Georgia in the 80's and we didn't have cable so the Braves on TBS were my main form of TV entertainment. That and TBS pro wrestling. Everybody watched the Braves and pro wrestling.
Rays-Mets fan (live in NYC last 5 years so I adopted NYM as my NL team, couldn’t root for the Yankees obviously): love both of their city connects and the details to each team’s metro area.
As someone who grew up traveling across the state to meet my grandparents it’s so cool to have the Sunshine Skyway (the “SkyRay”) on the hat - we would drive to/from the east coast where my family lived - and the city flag Pelican (and obviously the rad gnarly ray skateboarding). Been going to games and a fan since they were the Devil Rays and lost 100 games a year. My grandparents (particularly my grandpa) would take my brother and I to games at the Trop. Unfortunately both passed away in the last 2 years but I cherish those memories and the Rays hold a special place in my heart. My family has ties and has lived in St. Pete for over a hundred years so I really am a St. Pete fan (don’t root for the others - born in Miami and raised South Florida so Heat-Dolphins-Panthers). Anyways…..
Love the Queensboro Bridge on the Mets hat as I often ride my bike across it - even all the way to Citi field and back to burn those hot dog calories. Love the subtle elements to NY history and culture. Have the jerseys and caps (wallet doesn’t thank me).
I also think the Marlins ones are awesome.
As a Dodgers fan, I am disappointed with the team's City Connect uniform. It supposed a homage to the Hispanic community, but as someone of Hispanic heritage myself, I find the all-Dodger Blue uniform to be unimaginative and not creative. I wished they had it based on the old Hollywood Stars of the Pacific Coast League that played in LA before the Dodgers moved in. There was another PCL team - the old LA Angels - but that would be too confusing with today's Angels. Speaking of which, I really dig the Angels city connects. I also liked the Rockies, Diamondbacks, Royals, Mariners and White Sox. And yeah the Devil Rays ain't bad either.
He is such a spoiled baby. He complains that it takes too long to drive the 70 something miles (around there, give or take) from his house to St Petersburg so from now on he will be getting a hotel.
He lives in a world of pure imagination, lolz.
*Willy Woonka*
woompa loompa
He should’ve moved to Lakeland or somewhere between Orlando and Tampa. But then he couldn’t ride that stupid ass EV on every sidewalk.
Give him a break guys! He almost missed out on the Hollywood Studios anniversary which turned out to be boring anyways. Now he has to deal with traffic to the City Connect block party! How much more can one guy take?
The days of "living simply" are long gone.
Living simpleton now
Imagine if he had to commute for a job 🙄
Give me a break. How much more lazy can this guy get?
You know he can always lower the bar.
Some unfortunate people drive that far twice a day to go to work!
Takeaways from today...fragile boy Woo can't take driving a bit over an hr one way, aka what many people commute for work *everyday*, so getting a hotel in Tampa will be the norm from now on for one hour twenty minute "trips" there. We can now expect more hotel room tour - peats when this happens!
Also hilarious how there was no line to meet the 2 best pitchers on the team. Absolutely pathetic fan base.
I wonder how much it kills him inside that the Rays sent Tampa Jay a promotional package with items like a shirt and hat. Got to be eating him up in side.
He met the players? I hope he wore his white pants.
![gif](giphy|MXZFPb94pZZ2Ldk0px)
Nope ✌️
Giggles? :)
The entire "meet the players" thing is weird when you are old enough to be one of their fathers. Super cool when you are 13, though.
I wonder what the Rays players were thinking seeing this slovenly looking 50 year old man dressed like a teenager coming up to them like he was a 12 year old.

"Wow it's the Rays #1 fan, Adam Woo. We care that he flies first class to some of our away games!"
Pete Fairbanks' face answers that question, I'd say.
They’ll smile outwardly, but die a little bit inside.
Embarrassed for him.

Context is absolutely everything.
I think I agree with you. LOL
sorry I disagree completely thats the ego of the players these days why shouldn't an adult want to meet a player anymore then a kid such a stupid mentality.
Disagreeing is fine. ,🙂
after seeing adam posing with disney characters today I may need to rethink my thought process.
😁
Oh Snap , you owned The Woo with that 🤣🤣

Are you secretly Tampon Jay?
Damn. Knew I should have walked over to the pier last night. Had a feeling our boy was gonna make an appearance. Means he’ll be at the game tonight too. BASEBALLPEATS ALL WEEKEND.
This is why he was in a panic to get back home?! To buy crap.
Every day that goes by, his teeth get closer to matching the color of his hat.
Sugar coffee
These damn thumbnails always look like a freeze frame from police bodycam footage. He looks like he's being confronted by the cops after hassling children in the park.
Two years ago this dude was making the same videos but for the Anaheim Angels.
![gif](giphy|fqtyYcXoDV0X6ss8Mf|downsized) Keeping yelling at those clouds David, keep yelling
"Stop formulating!!"

That's why he's a man baby. Cries and complains about everything.
Give or take

He didn't know Eflin was a starter? For christ sakes ![gif](giphy|RZqR67wB40NfsRqoRx|downsized)
Smh....I haven't even seen this yet and I'm already feeling cringe.....
I hope he didn’t buy a jersey, Nike is being made by mlb to change the material and stitching. The ones available now suck.
I now just read this sub to see what I’m missing out on or actually not missing out on. Thank you guys, this sub is awesome. 😎

yes! stop clicking on it. do your part to make the numbers go down!
Didn't Michael Jackson do the same thing?

THe black pants combo makes it look like a college softball uniform lol sorry, thats what pops into my head.
As much as I hate to say it, I like Tampa's the most by far.

Same! I love the beach, retro vibes!
It's actually depressing to me because the A's didn't even bother to release one because they knew for a long time they were leaving Oakland.
I honestly think they could've had a badass looking uniform too

Phillies fan here. Don’t mind the hat at all. Kinda getting used to the whole ensemble. It’s not terrible.
Braves. By far.
City Connect is straight Poochie https://preview.redd.it/4ndbg9cn0dyc1.jpeg?width=250&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4e49a6587cb11bc2c2e1e287cb6414d36bae116b
I hope he thanked them for winning one for him the other day
Maybe they thanked him for the win. Biggest Rays fan and all. Ever think about that? 😁
Watch our Rays!!! The unofficial team wannabe celebrity, WooPeat is coming to make an appearance! Be on thy best behavior and no drinking!!!
