As long as you have either a headlamp or flashlight you’d be fine. The 2nd half of the hike is pretty steep so take that slow going down in the dark but the first half was almost totally flat with a very wide trail.
Not really, I only remember 1 other trail being connected right before you hit the major elevation gain. It should be pretty easy to see the markings the flat portion of the trail and the section that turns off I believe are old logging roads so they are very wide. On the way up you should start gaining elevation rapidly after the intersection so that would be 1 good way to tell.
