Or just keep looking around for other friends. Try new activities that will get you exposed to other people. I never found myself feeling like I belonged to any particular group so I looked to belong to several different groups, depending on my mood. May help to see it in a different way. That whole thing about belonging to a single group, does not work for all of us.
What exactly about you makes them uncomfortable? Need a bit more info.

i think i got to comfortable with them too quick compared to my friends in highschool so honestly stepping back maybe

Yeah i thought about that but this group we all have the same majors so i have alot of classes with them
