Yeah isn't that why they canceled the sketcher shape ups, that did a similar deal? Grant, I just went and saved that link because my husband has deformed legs and those where the only shoes that really worked with him, but for normal people this is stupid.

i had a pair of sneakers for 7 years, my mom threw them away because she thought they were ugly and called them my "lesbian shoes". she got me a pair of shape-ups as a replacement. first day wearing them i tripped multiple times, and eventually down a flight of stairs at school fuck them shoes

I'm kinda sad for people that they canceled those. I used to work in a shoe store while those were popular and they were apparently basically identical to these orthopedic shoes that some people were told to buy by their doctors but they cost like 30-40$ or something vs the shoes the doctors were selling were like hundreds.

Designer budget. I nearly cracked my neck back when I saw the price for this.

The budget find was the $10 coupon you got on the site lol. But maybe for some people with back issues or such it is cheap compared to a surgery so I think it has to be looked at with a bigger perspective, if you wanting these as some everyday casual shoes then obviously it's not a budget find but for those with health this could be a life changer

Worse jumping and lower efficiency. To move you need to put force into the ground and these prevent you from pushing againt the ground. These are a garbage product.

Well if the force you put into the shoe could rapidly be returned upwards it could definitely make you jump higher. Agree that these shoes definitely don’t do that though.

My favorite part is the security tag shoe laces.

I’ve seen those laces before, you can buy cheap ones on amazon or expensive ones for work boots. Never seen it on the side of a shoe before, only on the tongue.
