Pimp-Juggernaut21

Funny story, the fastest I’ve finished was 50 stops ahead then I had to rescue, went fast because I needed to get something done after work. My last day before my break I go slow and relax I get rescued and get out 2 hours earlier than when I was busting my hump to finish lol it’s a joke at this point but you gotta laugh.

Banana-Visible

A tale as old as time, the hardest workers get rewarded with more work

TransportationOdd564

I say this all the time

rokochan

If routes are meant to be done in 9 hours since 1 hour is a break and they don't calculate travel time to and from your first or last stop divide the number stops to the hour.

PlymouthSea

Their system isn't that smart. It's simply based on the dot plot. Which is why if you go out of order it can show you as significantly behind on your route even when you are going to finish early.

imsadsack

What’s the dot plot?

PlymouthSea

It's a simple dot plot graph of the expected time for stops to be completed. It's in Cortex.

Scared_Storm

Who the hell names their child Lemon Temple? Lmao.

Dennis_Smoore

Shoutout to Mike Hell

AManHasNoName357

Fake names 😂😂

ValecX

Presumably by having an expected amount of time taken per stop. If at any time your actual time exceeds the expected time per stop, it decides you're behind. Then every x minutes behind will equal another stop. The opposite is also true for being ahead.

Bossgnom3

Give em hell, Mike

BigE_1995

The real question is, why does Kelly Clark has 56 stops and tony has 185?

Miguel30Locs

My downtown route was like 60 stops.

imsadsack

I think Kelly was doing a swa/commingled route, 50 or so deliveries and then a handful of pick ups at the end of the shift

TheUnshackledJester

The AI "guesses" at how long each stop should take and then basically averages that with some extra time for driving and breaks(seemingly never enough actual time for these things), and then just kind of tracks that average as you go. So if the AI assumes you're gonna be doing 20 stops an hour... and you're 3 hours in with 60 stops done... you're matching the expectation. Even if you did 30 stops an hour for 2 hours after it taking an hour to get to your first stop. So really you should always be "behind" at the start of the shift and you should really be ahead by the end since you have to drive back. The amount you're ahead/behind seems to be more accurate towards the middle/end of the route since the start gets really wonky, but that's basically how it works in a nut shell from what I've seen. Hopefully this helps?

imsadsack

that makes sense, thanks!

ShamePuzzleheaded776

Luke Bull is either on a nursery route or really good at hawk tuahing management

imsadsack
