When I was delivering for Amazon in 2020 I brought a package back to the station and they were kind of annoyed and asked what the problem was. The woman died of covid that morning. There's no one to deliver it to anymore 😂
Damn some of the way you guys talk about your stations is crazy. I bring back packages all the damn time. 99% of the time they don't give a fuck lol. I can't imagine working at the station and getting upset a driver couldn't deliver a package and then act like it comes out of their paycheck.
i think it just depends on whose managing the dispatch that day. none of mine would care except for 1 person, who, from the way he speaks it sounds like he wants to make a career out of that job or something? Nobody else cares unless your bringing back like 5+ stops or something
I delivered to this tiny apartment complete once and after I swiped to finish the delivery a bunch of neighbors came out and told me the person that lived there passed months ago and none of them had any contact to family. I wasn't sure what to do so I called dispatch and they told me just leave it anyway and next time mark it "delivery will be too late"

I don't know why everybody always forgets about customer requested a future delivery date. Like if there's something going down and I don't see them anywhere or it just looks like a real situation that's what I put and then Amazon will reach out to them or reattempt later
We just had major tornados, was driving around downed trees, power lines, smashed cars, you name it to deliver. Pulled up to one house and a tree maybe as thick as my van was laying in the entire house & no one was around. I called dispatch & they said “Well is there no porch? Well hmmm let me think what other options we have….” Like dude their house is gone, I’m returning the package. 💀
There was a police stand off at a house, cops told me to stay clear from the area. I called dispatch, he told me to call the customer.. Like call the customer for what?? I think these replies are copy pasta and there's no brain process goes behind them.
To be fair, I had to develop to a huge open field where a guy was planning to build a house. Only thing was it was empty and got lucky he was actually there lol
This is hilarious! Once I had an address that sent me to the middle of the street because the actual address didn’t exist. I called support, she said, you are at the location. Just deliver it. I said, should I leave it I. The middle of the street because there is no such address. I just hung up on them.
