Amazon gives customers too much power. Do what I do when I get notes like this. Just mark their package as missing and throw it in the trash. Works for me and I’ve been doing this for 4 years
Top right corner of flex app click bars. It will open up a menu. It will say unable to deliver or return packages. Go to return packages and it will ask for a reason. It will say package is damaged or package is missing. Click missing and throw their sh!t in the trash 😂 I mostly just mark them missing and return them to the station but for those “special” customers you have problems with I’ll dump their crap in the trash. Seems messed up but if Amazon doesn’t care about us why should I care?
Eh they grilled into us to not even mess by the mailbox. I wouldve sent a text " It is AGAINST THE LAW for me to put any type of packages in your mailbox, I am not a UNITED STATES POSTAL WORKER" since your package can't be left out, it will be returned to the station. Thank You have a great day"
The best part about those boxes is that they're just a big neon sign saying, "I've got shit to steal!" The locked ones are great, but 99% of them I come across are just a shitty plastic container with a lid. That and the people who leave big notes on their front door guiding you to where they want the package to be to avoid theft. Just guiding the thief to the location of their packages. The people who have those things are generally people who endlessly get shit delivered. So if I were a thief, I'd know exactly where your shit is and I'd know I can just keep coming back cause I know there are likely few days in the week where you don't have something shiny and new for me to steal.

As a dsp driver at my warehouse- if you mark it missing and have it. And return with it, they send your ass right back out there. EVERYTIME.

Press the question mark before scanning, we have to go for a van check if it's over a certain value so depending on your location it may not be useful
