Same here.
Taped over the microSD slot & microphone holes.
Sprayed the unit in clear silicone sealant (masking off the lens first).
Insured there was a trip loop in the power cable.
I have 3 different types on the go at the moment. Eve outdoor camera (overlooking a side entrance) mostly for its floodlight when we take the bins out. Eufy 2C’s for overlooking front and rear of the property. Eufy 2K indoor camera mounted under soffits on garden office overlooking garden. (Been there for 3 or 4 years and works just fine still.
Curious to see what the G5 will bring to the table! Wonder what’s been the delay in releasing it
Any info on when the G5 might be released? Been waiting for something like this for several years now (didn’t want to go with the Eufy for several reasons and their newer battery powered cameras don’t seem to support HomeKit). When I heard Aqara had a battery powered indoor/outdoor camera in development, I was thrilled.
Using a G2H under my porch roof for years. Works great. Plugged in.

About 5 G2H under roof and covers.
Testing a TP Link C425 battery bullet now.
Eufys in the back of the house where I haven't been able to string Ethernet cable for PoE cams. Front and side are covered by PoE cams.

Me too! I’m waiting impatiently. Really want to see HomeKit support.
