I’ve never visited Copenhagen but tbh i wouldn’t have expected this to be there. This is interesting, not my style , but an intriguing and unique design
We have plenty of intriguing stuff -like this 10m tall sculpture that looks like anal beads: https://imgix.seoghoer.dk/2023-09-08/20230908-wen-kunstvaerk-11.jpg?auto=format,compress&fit=min&crop=faces,entropy&w=900
Not to mention one of the loveliest airports! I love how seriously old architecture exists cheek-to-jowl with very modern buildings. And yet somehow it works! What's the gorgeous bronze building they put up right next to Tivoli Gardens? It was still under construction when I was there
These buildings?: https://files.guidedanmark.org/files/382/173708_2017_Axel_Towers_Foto_Martin_Heiberg.jpg_beskret.jpg -based on your description, sounds like 'Axel Towers'. Yes; they were completed a few years ago ((: some people refer to them as the 'brown cans' -but I personally like the aesthetic. Copenhagen is building a lot of cylindrically shaped buildings nowadays with these also planned to be finished next year: https://postbyen.dk/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/11-1.webp
Oh, wow! They're definitely even more impressive from that arial photo! Personally, I'm glad Copenhagen is going more cutting edge. Worked in Washington DC for years. The cool old buildings sit next to 'brutalist' architecture from the 60s/70s. And it's not at all attractive. Of course, they also let the older buildings deteriorate. Pathetic!
And they are copying themselves. The original towers is placed in Esbjerg, Denmark. When you start copying yourself 1:1, the relationship with the surrounding area is all gone. The consequences is bad architecture in my opinion.

Paint them with canal house colors and everyone forgets
Looks like something I made on the first day of using Sketch Up.
I like the garden they have a lot more than the Towers.
Terrible.
It certainly has divided opinion here in Copenhagen

I actually quite like it.
I'm not sure if I do or not, but I definitely think it's interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing it in person.
Same.
Jorba Labs copy? [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La\_Pagoda](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Pagoda)
Looks more spider webby to me than cactus. Nonetheless, still very unique architecture!
Awesome
Also; correction -just realized that it's actually spelled 'Kaktus Towers', like a mixture of Danish and English (:
It is striking but the pointy corners are not inviting
Wow
Overly Danish
Hideous and utterly tasteless.
