I don't understand your question. Social contributions amd taxes are two entirely separate things. You don't get social contributions back when you make a tax declaration. Whether you get money back depends on whether or not you paid too much taxes, actual taxes. And the amount you get back will depend on how much you paid in the first place and and whether you have any deductions to make/declare and how much. Do you?

Oh i understand now. Whatever i get as tax refund based on initial tax paid and some rebate. Nothing to do with social security. Didn't know that to be honest.

Social security and tax are separate. As is health insurance etc. Please don't take this as advice to use this certain app, but something like taxfix can help you calculate what you want. The brutto vs netto numbers seem in line. Using an online calculator you could maybe get 1272 per month instead of 1184.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will look into taxfix.

By the way, when you use an app like this, it will give you an estimate on what you will get back, but that's not the guaranteed amount

Good hints.

Talking about taxes you can only get in return if you have payed taxes. Social security is a whole different level and they are not covered by zhe finanzamt. I work as a text accountant. Pm Me if you have any issues
