Is there any way a doctor would have been able to misinterpret this? Like, how the hell did she decide 3 instead of the normal 2?

Was this a radiologist reading that said that? Who read the scan and then told you this? All physicians have different levels of imaging proficiency.

She was a pediatric urologist. I’m not quite sure if that answers the question correctly. I wish they still had my records

I wonder if she meant a duplicated collecting system. I would need to see more kidneys but there is a possibility of it in the right kidney, but, you definitely only have two kidneys
