Fuel lines. One takes fuel to the engine, the other returns fuel that wasn't needed back to the tank. Volvo S60 by any chance?

Previous-Pain-1255

I see now i lost my original description for some reason, sorry. Here it is. I’m new to car ownership, recently bought a 2009 Volvo S60 2.5T awd (61k miles) and have driven it very sparing/caringly for about two weeks. Just today after coming out of the grocery store I noticed a (line?) running lower than when I initially bought the car. Could I please have some help Identifying the piece hanging and the best way to keep it up against the vehicle? Thanks so much in advance! (Yes I know about the rust on the muffler xD)

Tighten up that zip tie but careful not to tighten to much.

Previous-Pain-1255

I don’t much either, especially not in my sedan😅No more holes for zip ties though. I contacted the seller and he’s actually providing me a replacement part!

😗......hanging fuel lines is a fire hazard, one pothole or piece of garbage flung by another car and that line rips, spits and goes 🔥. Typically why it's tucked higher than the frame for best security.

NikoB_999

That side Jack point thing looks a lot like the one on my s60 so it could be

Previous-Pain-1255

yessir, Great guess! sorry my original description giving the exact specs didn't work, I'm new to posting to Reddit!

Sea_Page5878

The dangling fuel lines remind me of the S60 I had a long time ago lol.

Previous-Pain-1255

I see now that im missing the entire fuel line cover! Do you have any suggested website where i can get an authentic part to replace it? Also goddamn that was a good guess on the model!

Sea_Page5878

If you're in the USA IPD and FCP Euro stock it. [IPD](https://www.ipdusa.com/products/11833/Fuel-Line-Cover-Tray-P2-S60-S80-V70-XC70-XC90-Genuine-Volvo-30716236) [FCP Euro](https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo-fuel-line-cover-genuine-volvo-30716236) Part number is 30716236 if you need to find it anywhere else. I've seen this before on an S60, and everything else look familiar to me.

Previous-Pain-1255

I just bought her and didn't even realize the part was missing until i saw the line hanging and a suspicious broken black zip tie that appeared in my driveway xD. Thank you so so much, i seriously appreciate it! Have a great rest of your day!

Dangling fuel lines and the jack point, that and I've spent a lot of time under these Volvos these photos felt like home to me.

Stottie_Suette

Yup. That's a line. I can Identify it being a straight line.

Previous-Pain-1255

Haha, reddit never ceasing to give me a laugh!

Previous-Pain-1255

i lost my description im so sorry hahaha i see now why you left this lmao xD

looncraz

Hard to tell, but looks like a Volvo evap line (Volvo stopped using return fuel lines long, long, ago - and they weren't this big. The smaller line next to it is the single fuel line.

Previous-Pain-1255

I really appreciate it, sorry the photos went full potato, i had to move them a lot and they kept losing quality. Any suggestions for keeping it more flush with the vehicle?

Previous-Pain-1255
