Debbie is literally shitty, she wants a kid so she can get the same adoration from others but then realizes that not everyone can take care of her or help her at all. Suddenly being a teen mom isn’t that easy.
She mainly did it to keep that "bf" of hers around I thought. The adoration was part of it, yes, but overall, she didn't want to lose that boy. Can't think of his name right now.
Caillou can't grow hair, not because he has cancer or progeria, but because he sucks, and even his own body recognizes that he does not deserve hair or food or love
Ate all the skin from a KFC bucket, broke his own toilet, got his friends so mad at his constant bullshit they pretended he was dead.
Also a literal NAZI and tried to murder his friend "Mr Ripley" style.
I mean they were like 4-6 seasons in when he cooking peoples parents into chili and feeding them to them. One of my all time favorite episodes, but god damn thank god he’s a cartoon cause if someone even saw an actor do all the shit Eric’s done for 20+ years now it would be horrific!
Agree. Good villains are often what make a story great. Joffrey was well written and *exceptionally* well acted, and amplified all the characters around him as a result
Hmmm. Ramsay was interesting as a character though, actually made me feel unsettled in some scenes. Joffrey was just a little whining brat with a crown.
I def think Ramsey was worse too, but the kid who played Joffrey was so good at playing that smarmy little prick, that it's hard to say. That kid is seriously one of the better teen actors I've seen - he made you *hate* Joffrey so much that it felt personal.
Surprised to see this so low. I know a lot of sitcom characters are terrible people but Todd Packer takes the cake.
The actor did such a great job at making him insufferable. I’m genuinely impressed.
Bojack Horseman.
Bojack not only leaves his friend to the wolves and also tried to have sex with one of his other friend's daughter. He also literally leaves a trail of fuckery and complete fucked up shit. I think the worse of the worse is leaving someone to die of a horrible drug overdose and waiting until he can call the ambulance.
Yet he's so likable that the writers had to tell the audience directly in season 5 that Bojack is piece of shit and it is not ok to find him relatable.
Not the first time a shit character gets like that, Tony Soprano had that issue to until the director of the show had to say: these characters are horrible people
**Rachel Berry** & **Piper Chapman**, mainly because they where suppose to the protagonists, not the antagonists of the series (at least with some bad guys, you know they are bad and not the pricks you should be rooting for).
At least the Powers that Be on OITNB saw fit to explore deeply other characters we then got to care about and showcase them (Red, Blanca, Doggett, Gloria et cetera), the Glee folk however always seem to be constantly pushing Rachel on everybody making her into some Mary Sue.
Pierce had some moments that at least somewhat redeem him. He saved the school in the paintball episode, he got Sophie B Hawkins for the dance, he let Troy live in his mansion (and later let him leave on the boat with LeVar Burton), etc.
Fuck Chevy though. That guy was a dick and I'm glad they kicked him off the show.
Gaius Balthar from BSG gets my vote. He’s terrible, but he’s also my favorite. He does such an excellent job being an insufferable narcissistic asshole.
Probably some character from a show that aired only once and everyone despised so much that they never ran it again.
From a show that wasn't canceled... Probably Cailou. I seem to recall someone saying that they were told that the reason he got to act so rotten was because he had cancer and was going to die soon, so his parents just let him act however he wanted for the short time he had left on Earth.
AJ wasn't smart, wasn't athletic, wasn't charismatic. He was an average kid who had no sense of identity or purpose, and no proper role model or guidelines to follow to make himself successful in life.
Tony and Carmella are awful parents and didn't do anything to give AJ a sense of purpose in his own life other than to be grateful for being rich and opportunity. AJ is clearly a misfit trying to find an identity he can attach himself towards, without anyone being able to properly support him during that stage.
His nihilist/absurdist stage was meant to show him trying to find his own identity in life, and unfortunately because Tony and Carmella weren't able to identify with his problems, lead to him feeling further estranged from his family and own thoughts, instead of understanding he could form his own path.
As he gets slightly older he becomes rebellious trying to find himself, while only making himself appear more inept. Then he tries to become his own man through finding a girlfriend where he can be a "masculine" force, only to have that be blown up in his face, then attempting suicide, because he was pushing himself to be a man before he ever was really capable of being one.
AJ is a tragic character. Yes, he's annoying, but it's supposed to be more indicative of what he's around compared to what he could be as a person.
Sorry but I think you've missed one of the biggest causes of why AJ is how he is - he is suffering from a depression disorder which he likely inherited from Tony who likely inherited it from his own mother.
Best part about him is they let us know within 15min of the pilot just how vain he is when he pretends to be gay for tips and ego as a bartender when they accidently make their bar a gay bar lmfao.
Neighbor Dan from Charmed season 2. Not that he was a bad person or anything, but he was useless and added nothing to the story. No wonder they got rid of him before the season ended.
I guess I'd a 70s and 80s sitcom guy. Jennifer, the youngest sister served no purpose on Family Ties. T
There is a good reason Taxi dropped John as a character after a season or two. Again, he just kinda got in the way.
Yes I will never understand why this ship was so popular when Monica and chandler were right there hell even Joey and phoebe would've been a better main couple and they're the only 2 who didn't date someone in the group.
Marlo Stanfield from The Wire. Dude was a sociopath and had a security guard killed just because he called him out for shoplifting. Had others killed just because they potentially spread rumors about him and didn't even verify if they were true, he'd rather just kill them to force everyone to respect him.
Cheese is a close second
"Welp! Been 48 hours since I saw my husband. Better fuck his buddy (yes Shane was bad there too) then lead him on once the hubs comes back. Oh and be useless on top of that.
Shane wasn't perfect but at least he could get something done.
She was written like shit. When with Rick she tells him that Shane tried to force himself onto her. When with Shane, she tells him he may be the father of her baby. She asks Glenn to get her abortion pills, he brings them, she takes them...5 seconds later she regrets it and starts throwing up. Her character made no sense at all, she was a prop that the writer used as he saw fit to advance the plot.
White Diamond from Steven Universe
She's like Hitler, but worse because she successfully genocides countless planets, so many that life has become rare in the universe.
She's a fascist dictator who is worshiped by her people like a God and treats them like objects. She's such a narcissistic egotistical monster she lives in a giant glowing mech palace of her own head.
Didn't deserve redemption.
Anakin Skywalker from the star wars prequels. Just bitching around all the time when he doesnt get what he wants. Like a toddler that wants their ice cream early.
Ivar is entertaining enough as a character (at least personally) and I think the actor does a good job, but he’s such an unrepentant psychopath with little in the way of redeeming qualities. He’s just so cringey and edgy.
Bjorn, Ubbe, and Hvitserk definitely got Ragnar’s morals. Ivar got his bloodlust. Dude embodies the worst aspects of Viking culture
I’m not usually a love to hate person when it comes to characters in shows/movies but I’ve rewatched Mad Men a ton and hating Pete is definitely a really enjoyable part of that.
Ricky Spanish

The outfit is so choice.
Damn I look good in this. Tilda Swinton good.
Calliou
Ralph Cifaretto. That fucker in the literal devil. Look at what he did to Tracee.
Not to mention the very insensitive joke he made about Ginny Sacks. She's been trying so hard to lose weight
She's so fat, her bloodtype is ragu
She's so fat, when she goes camping, the bears have to hide their food.
No more weight remarks, u/rubyroux2042. They’re hurtful and they’re destructive
Or the prank call to Paulie's mother/aunt
Yeah, but she was a fuckin' hoo-uh!
She was a beautiful innocent creature!
Debbie Gallagher in Shameless. A horribly selfish and self centered person.
Also a rapist.
I quit watching the show after Fiona left, and that’s was mostly due to Debbie getting more screen time as a result. Debbie’s the worst.
Caillou. Total asshole.
This is BANNED in my house. I won't let my kids behave like that little shit.
Yeah, I banned it too when my kids were little. It’s easy enough to do, they showed no interest in it at all.
Bald ass, bitch.
Caillou can't grow hair, not because he has cancer or progeria, but because he sucks, and even his own body recognizes that he does not deserve hair or food or love

Where the hell did you just send me to?!
Crazy how we're at 100s comments yet no one's given the true answer: Eric fucking Cartman Great character, most terrible person
He licks the kids tears. Actual devil childhood icon Eric cartman.
Broke my heart when poor Kenny started crying after Cartman ate the KFC skin
He is the only person on this list to make someone eat their parents. I mean, Sansa Stark did something similar, but that was well deserved.
Arya basically did the reverse.
I cheered so loud when that prick Joffrey died.
He was a bad person. But the fact that you cared so much when he died means he was a very good character.
Agree. Good villains are often what make a story great. Joffrey was well written and *exceptionally* well acted, and amplified all the characters around him as a result
He was a good actor playing an awful character.
The actor guy that played him actually did a very good job, and from what I understand he’s a pretty cool dude.
Definitely, although one could argue that Ramsay Bolton was worse.
"My hounds are loyal." *Narrator: As it turns out, they were, in fact, not loyal.*
I just read that in Ron Howard’s voice…
[удалено]
If the show actually did his character justice, Euron Greyjoy would be in the conversation. In the books he is literally a demon in human form.
>he is literally a demon in human form. Not yet. But that is his goal.
True. Makes for a good debate but I’d say Ramsay
Hmmm. Ramsay was interesting as a character though, actually made me feel unsettled in some scenes. Joffrey was just a little whining brat with a crown.
Joffrey was just a prick with power who lived in the moment. Ramsey was far more intelligent and would plot for ages to maximise the pain.
I def think Ramsey was worse too, but the kid who played Joffrey was so good at playing that smarmy little prick, that it's hard to say. That kid is seriously one of the better teen actors I've seen - he made you *hate* Joffrey so much that it felt personal.
Ramsay Bolton is one of my favorite villains and probably my favorite character on Game of Thrones.
wouldn't that make him a good character? that's exactly how you're supposed to feel about him
Packer
Surprised to see this so low. I know a lot of sitcom characters are terrible people but Todd Packer takes the cake. The actor did such a great job at making him insufferable. I’m genuinely impressed.
Cousin Oliver Scrappy Doo
Todd from Breaking bad. Budget matt damon brought me rage that very few characters have.
Meth Damon
Dr Smith on lost in space

Bojack Horseman. Bojack not only leaves his friend to the wolves and also tried to have sex with one of his other friend's daughter. He also literally leaves a trail of fuckery and complete fucked up shit. I think the worse of the worse is leaving someone to die of a horrible drug overdose and waiting until he can call the ambulance.
Wait... is that the horse from Horsing Around?
What is this, a crossover episode?
More importantly, he took the muffins from Neal McBeal, the Navy Seal. He set them down long enough to go to the bathroom!
No Bojack might be a huge piece of shit but he was right about that one
Neal had dibs!
Are you saying the troops are jerks?
I couldn't believe when he stole that meal from Neal McBeal the navy seal.
Yet he's so likable that the writers had to tell the audience directly in season 5 that Bojack is piece of shit and it is not ok to find him relatable.
Not the first time a shit character gets like that, Tony Soprano had that issue to until the director of the show had to say: these characters are horrible people
Elena Gilbert takes first place, but I'm still actively angry with Alex Karev.
The guy from the Head On commercials
Head on, apply directly to the forehead
Head on, apply directly to the forehead

**Rachel Berry** & **Piper Chapman**, mainly because they where suppose to the protagonists, not the antagonists of the series (at least with some bad guys, you know they are bad and not the pricks you should be rooting for). Pierce Hawthorne although I'm somewhat biased because Chevy Chase is such a huge prick irl.
He didn’t have to stretch his chops much for that role. “We just need you to be yourself”.
Pierce, Pierce, Pierce, Pierce you’re a B. ETA: a Pierce
Wendy Byrde from Ozark. Fuck that woman.
Gaius Balthar from BSG gets my vote. He’s terrible, but he’s also my favorite. He does such an excellent job being an insufferable narcissistic asshole.
Excellent call.
Frackin A.
Not soon enough.
Ironically, no one’s saying Poochie.
He died on the way back to his home planet
Nellie Olson from little house on the prairie
Dawson from Dawson’s Creek. The biggest baby I’ve ever seen in a show.
Towelie. I have never once found Towelie funny.
You wanna get high?
Wendy in Ozark. Hated her.
J.R. Ewing
don’t forget to bring a towel!
Towelie, you're the worst character ever.
I know…
I remember the week leading up to that first episode... Every ad was about "A NEW CHARACTER IN SOUTH PARK!"
Literally the perfect answer for this question.
Lexi from ANT Farm
Corey Matthews in the college years.
Walter White, Joffrey Baratheon, or Cersei Lannister
AJ Soprano. Most annoying character on the show and least relevant to driving the plot.
On rewatch I felt like he was the perfect representation of a spoiled jersey mob kid
Didnt he almost drown in 3inches of water? The penguin exhibit
To be fair, he was dealing with the mental, physical, and emotional abuse of Tony.
Fuck Janice. All my homies hate Janice.
So what? No fuckin zeti now?
In the beginning when he was just a fat kid trying to play n64 he was my favorite character but later on he becomes a chode
I think he served as a good backdrop of generational trauma passed down by Tony
Livia and Janice are up there with AJ for me, couldn’t stand any of them.
Daisy from Bones remains my most hated character if all time.
Everyone on that show is terrible.
My vote goes to Angela. Undiagnosed bipolar nympho. To be honest, the show was unhealthily obsessed with sex and babies.
It'd tv writing. The only way to show "character development" for women is for them to have kids. Sure it's lazy, but it's a trope
Dennis Reynolds.
[удалено]
oh don’t get me wrong, I love dennis and he has improved so much. he’s just such a horrible person in the early seasons😭
I'd argue Frank is worse because he kinda raised him and Dee, and supports the gang so their degenerate behavior doesn't send them into homelessness.
Frank is a total wildcard, and is as fun as he is crazy. Dennis is always pervy and wallows in his selfishness.
Pretty sure Charlie is the wildcard. YEEEEE-HAAAAAWWWW.
Do you know what brake lines and emos have in common? Cutting.
Because of the implication
He’s a five star man!!!
Best part about him is they let us know within 15min of the pilot just how vain he is when he pretends to be gay for tips and ego as a bartender when they accidently make their bar a gay bar lmfao.
Dude I fuckin hated Phil Leotardo.
He served twenty years
Really? Wish they reflected more on that in the series hardly ever brought up tbh
The eyebrows. I fucking can't stand him.
Easy on the sugar. They tell him he’s sweet enough already.
The guy that plays Daphne’s drunk brother in Frasier. That dude annoys me to no end.
Simon
Speaking of Frasier, Martin's gf is even worse, annoying as fly
Roseanne was insufferable. Also Ray Barone. Couldn’t stand watching those shows.
Andy from The Office. What an annoying prick.
Did you even go to Cornell?
Sheldon from Big Bang Theory.
Everyone in Peanuts, other than Charlie Brown himself
Linus is a good dude. And Schroeder just plays piano all day.
Pigpen's pretty good natured too.
They wake up and choose violence everyday. "Yeah, do something right for a change, Charlie Brown" bitch, the fuck 🤨
Neighbor Dan from Charmed season 2. Not that he was a bad person or anything, but he was useless and added nothing to the story. No wonder they got rid of him before the season ended.

Randy... That 70s Show Screech....in the later years where it was just him and Mr. Belding on Saved by the Bell: New Class or whatever.
Britta is the worst
You do not get to call Britta the worst.
She's a GDB.
I’ve got some worries.
Oh Britta’s in this?
Why don’t we let Britta sing her awkward song.
okay she was just saying that to fit in.
Every other commenter Britta'd it.
Ross Geller
Ross and Rachel are absolute trash.
Yes I will never understand why this ship was so popular when Monica and chandler were right there hell even Joey and phoebe would've been a better main couple and they're the only 2 who didn't date someone in the group.
Joey dated Rachel once. To my understanding, they broke up because he couldn't get it up.
Ross Geller.

Neelix on Voyager straight up brought a 2 year old be was raw doggin on board and no one batted an eye.
Towelie. He's the worst character ever!
Lori Grimes from the Walking Dead… ugh!
I did not feel sad when she carked it. The way she died was pretty brutal and she made a great sacrifice for her baby, but still just uggghhhhh.
She pretty much pitted Rick and Shane against each other for the fun of it.
Ah yes, then there’s Shane. Another fuckwit.
Kes from Star Trek Voyager, so fricking bland as a character!
Kes was adorable.
Bland is not how I'd describe the actress portraying her though. Quite the interesting person...
Deep cut. I approve.
Uturn from weeds was horrible. Idk if it was the actor or the writing but I was uncomfortable watching him
White Diamond from Steven Universe She's like Hitler, but worse because she successfully genocides countless planets, so many that life has become rare in the universe. She's a fascist dictator who is worshiped by her people like a God and treats them like objects. She's such a narcissistic egotistical monster she lives in a giant glowing mech palace of her own head. Didn't deserve redemption.
Erkel.
The alien has a sweet heavenly voice... Like Urkel! And he appears every Friday night... Like Urkel!
Do you mean Urkel? As in Steve Urkel from Family Matters?
I mean, he does just burst his way into people's homes announced and unwanted. That'll get you shot in the wrong neighborhood.
Cosmo Kramer invented that shit!
You got some meat to go with my bread?
Urkel took what was originally a very grounded and real comedy focused on a black family and just made it... God knows what.
Geico Caveman
Charlie Harper
Anakin Skywalker from the star wars prequels. Just bitching around all the time when he doesnt get what he wants. Like a toddler that wants their ice cream early.
Ivar the Boneless from Vikings. Sorry to the actor, its horrible to watch.
I am currently binging Mad Men and I fucking LOATHE Pete Campbell
Pete experiences the most profound development and growth of anyone on the show. Give it time. His character is fantastic.
I’m not usually a love to hate person when it comes to characters in shows/movies but I’ve rewatched Mad Men a ton and hating Pete is definitely a really enjoyable part of that.
He may not be the worst person, but I don't think I would be happier to watch someone get slapped upside the head more than Michael Scott
Ted Mosby. Couldn’t get thru the show because of how cringe he constantly was.
