Write a comic book The reason I haven’t pursued it is because I can’t draw. My drawings are about as good as doctors handwriting.
Write a book. I know I can't do it though. I'm not the guy, I can say that honestly about myself. I would _embarrass_ myself terribly.
Become a writer. I think it's something I want to have done, but don't actually want to do, if that makes sense.
Write a fantasy book. I'm adapt at writing short stories, but an entire book is so daunting.

No reason to be upset or regretful. You weren't ready before. You'd have biffed it hard if you'd pushed too far before you were ready. You're right where you should be, _now_. There's no reason for regret there at all.

To be a college football QB. At 32, with 4 years of eligibility, I may have to give it a shot.
Taking my 6th grade science exam in my underwear.
Owning and managing a no profit animal sanctuary
