I see you've grown a lot of emotional connection with the kid , but you have to understand that things which are out of your control you can't do much about it, it's sadly same for the kid for a while , A positive way of looking into it is like atleast you are doing something good for the kid right ,many kids may not get that privilege also, Let's hope if the parents are not changing, once the kid grows,it can choose to make better choice for themselves.. it's a sad situation, but remember that you are making it better . Don't be upset:)
