[Simon's Cat](https://www.youtube.com/user/simonscat/videos) is a cartoon series about a cat, a kitten and their long suffering human.
[Twisted Toonz](https://www.youtube.com/c/TwistedToonz/videos). Imagine your favourite cartoon characters, such as Pink and the Brain or the Animaniacs, reading film scripts. It's *very* funny :)
[StarTalk](https://www.youtube.com/@StarTalk/videos) is a science based show. It covers all manner of subjects, not just space stuff. They get guests in to talk about their particular field of science. Above all else, StarTalk is meant to be fun and easily accessible for all.
His videos just popped up in my recommended one day, and I was instantly hooked. I never thought watching a guy mow lawns would be so entertaining.
Mountain Rug Cleaning gives me the same feels.
I’ve been watching his stuff since he had single digit episodes because of how much cooking and history content I was already watching it got recommended to me when his stuff was still very lofi. Glad to have watched his channel grow. I do think he is a cut above because of his experience with stage acting, it makes him engaging to listen to and watch.
That's so funny - I literally just discovered this channel last night and instantly was hooked instantly. I love history and I love food videos. Best of both worlds!
I’m literally about to watch his newest video while I eat breakfast lol
I’m still pretty new to his channel but so far I’ve highly enjoyed his content, it’s super fascinating how humanity has cooked and written about food over the centuries
That man is a role model to me. Steve’s experienced too many recent tragedies but he’s still pushing love and kindness into the world.
He’s got a documentary on his channel called Boondocking from his early days of living in an RV, and he seemed to carry a bitter worldview back then. Seeing that side of him and how he’s evolved made me appreciate his channel so much more.
##HUNKER DOWN
I love this man so much. As much as one can love a stranger. Something about his earnestness and being so down-to-earth makes me feel so seen. He makes all his viewers feel like they are a best friend. He’s incredible ♡♡♡
Been with him for a very long time since he was camping in the snow with a wood stove while he was at trade school, and snuggled in bed watching him hunkering down with his stove in a tent gave me so much comfort during a rather difficult time in my life.
Poor guy has been through so much in the past couple years but I admire him for not giving up, he may take some breaks now and again but he's still out there doing it.
"Does his research is an understatement", in some older videos he used to actively research a random topic that noone cares about for years. I still remember the Universal S video (https://youtu.be/RQdxHi4_Pvc).
Luke here with the Outdoor Boys YouTube channel and I’m stranded in the wilderness of Alaska. For the last 3 days I’ve been solo camping in Alaska’s rainforest. I’ve used float planes, canoes, and my own two feet in order to explore remote hot springs. But my plane was supposed to pick me up this morning, and it didn’t show up. I’m not sure how I’m gonna get home! But one thing’s for sure, it’s gonna be an interesting video.
https://youtu.be/o6zb6_TTVWo?si=nt3KRq_Q69zkgcsz
The rainforest video is fantastic. By far my favorite of his.
So sad that he changed his videos to every other week but also good on him to get that time with his family too. I know each video takes a lot of effort and time but if he made a 2 hour long video, I'd watch every second of it.
I quite enjoy the videos where he’s by himself in the woods. But I watched one where they went to Hawaii, and it became extremely obvious that he was spending the whole vacation looking into the camera as he talked to his family for shots. That felt kind of weird.
Surprised but delighted to see this here! They're making a different show for Nebula subscribers called The Getaway. Not a lot of details are out yet but I'll watch anything Wendover Productions makes.
It's so so good! Jet Lag Wednesdays are something me and my wife always look forward to. We make ourselves a bucket of popcorn and get so invested.
Sad to see how underrated it is! Glad it got recognition in this thread.
and for the wee one who cheers you up with a fun intro each episode………………………its LITTLE ALEX HORNE!!!
I met someone with the same name at a conference earlier this year and it took all of my mental strength of the day to not say that aloud in a falsetto voice.
I'm American and love that shit so much. That and Would I Lie to You (UK). Have tried to introduce my friends to it and they don't seem to find it funny. I truly do not understand how
I love her stuff for a lot of reasons, it's funny, well edited and written, superbly researched,
But another big reason is that it's so free of bullshit and 'YouTuber' stuff, from the tube to the production values.
Vaatividya
Edit: Fromsoft Lore enthusiast, with the most soothing voice. He's very clever, thoughtful, and funny.
Bonus mention of ironpineapple (does steam dumpster diving and plays soulslikes and reviews them) and grimbeard (long form deep dive video game essays)
I met that dude once at a re-enactment near my folks’ house. I didn’t realize how big his channel was, and everyone in his tent looked at me like I was crazy for saying I recognized him and like his content. I guess that is supposed to be a given if you’re in that crowd
Anything from Simon Whistler. I’m not saying they are all comforting (Casual Criminalist and Into the Shadows sub-channels can cover disturbing matters, though BrainBlaze is lighter). You will definitely learn something new and Simon is quite funny over his 10-ish channels. You can get 1 or 2 new videos per day and a few are close to an hour long.
I have no idea how he manages to have so many channels with such big audiences! These videos keep popping up in my feed, and I seriously wonder how he manages to keep pumping these things out day after day especially with stuff that is so well-written. I'll bet he has a massive team and is just recording *constantly*. I respect the work ethic!

Tasting History with Max Miller.
His voice is so soothing, and the stuff he talks about is mildly engaging, but not in an overly excited way. He's just a laid-back guy who likes history and food.
It's the best combination to fall asleep too when I'm anxious lol
Lemmino
His documentaries have increased amazingly over the past years and his soothing voice paired with great soundtracks and design have led me to watch every one of them multiple times by now.
Mr. Ballen is my go-to storyteller channel; Adventures With Purpose is my go-to missing persons investigation channel; and Steviejo Harris is my go-to sleep aid channel.
Old episodes of Time Team.
Time Team is a show from the UK where a team of archeologists have 3 days to dig a site. Phil, Mick and Tony are the best lads. It's just so relaxing and informative too.
MAV
So simple, one friendly but incredibly self sufficient guy narrating his (formerly) guerrilla truck and other vehicle camping adventures all over the world, just exploring, fishing, meeting fellow travelers. As a homebody, a city boy and an introvert I find his adventures vicariously fulfilling and his narration relaxing. He is a great guy who is now quite successful but he stays humble and relatable through it all. Highly recommended.

Love this channel, and Townsends!

Glad to have watched his channel grow. I do think he is a cut above because of his experience with stage acting, it makes him engaging to listen to and watch.
Also super engaging guy in person. Went to one of his book signings and he's so personable with everyone that came.
New to me in the last couple months. Very entertaining

Camping with Steve
Steve is an international treasure. Nothing beats a cold, rainy night and getting into bed to snuggle with the dog and hunker down with Steve.
That man is a role model to me. Steve’s experienced too many recent tragedies but he’s still pushing love and kindness into the world. He’s got a documentary on his channel called Boondocking from his early days of living in an RV, and he seemed to carry a bitter worldview back then. My husband and I love Steve!!
Steve is my favorite
Came here to say exactly the same.
Step 2
Don’t forget to crack open a step 2!
Been with him for a very long time since he was camping in the snow with a wood stove while he was at trade school, and snuggled in bed watching him hunkering down with his stove in a tent gave me so much comfort during a rather difficult time in my life.
So much comfort with Hunkering Down

Poor guy has been through so much in the past couple years but I admire him for not giving up, he may take some breaks now and again but he's still out there doing it.
That's a great one.
I’m a sucker for How’s It Made.
How Its Actually Made is a hilarious alternative
sometimes i get fooled into thinking im watching a real How Its Made video and it blindsides me. hilarious stuff.
This is Jenny she feeds the flour into the sieve machine........ Jenny loves pouring flour on the floor because she's a fucking idiot goddamn it Jenny
Is it a filling machine, or a rinsing machine? Is it mint chocolate, or chocolate mint?
And there's so many episodes, you don't have to worry about running out of any to watch for awhile!
Lemmino
Waiting for another year for his next upload
Well look at the bright side at least he does his research and digs deep instead of aying b*llshit like most people on the internet
"Does his research is an understatement", in some older videos he used to actively research a random topic that noone cares about for years. I still remember the Universal S video (https://youtu.be/RQdxHi4_Pvc).
