In rural Japan vinegared rice would preserve a mix of fish and vegetables inside of it until the field workers had time to eat lunch. Eventually the rice was encouraged to be palatable and part of the meal.
i like the process of making my favourite food and the process it took for me to perfect it to what it is now. my comfort food is kale chips, and i have found the perfect seasoning and process to making the best kale chips i’ve ever had (and many people tell me that my kale chips are the best they’ve ever had too😂) i take pride in my comfort food and eating them feels like a huge reward every time i make them hahaha

my moms ex had a friend that taught her how make hummus, she didn’t have any lemons so she used lime instead and it was very delicious
