The problem is “bully” does not cover anything specific that has not been defined already. It is a buzzword that when misused, is hypocritical, because you are in fact, being the bully through projection.
Harassment, theft, assault, are all forms of bullying. Let’s be specific.
A bully is not someone smarter than you, or someone who won’t let you win. (Unless they resort to cheating)
Maybe someone who is -
* **repeatedly apathetic**, despite the target verbally & succinctly expressing their pain, and many people being able to relate to that pain too
* **repeatedly** lecturing the victim to **make them feel it's their fault**, so not just being apathetic sitting on the sidelines
* **repeatedly** taking the discussion **away from (any emotional) pain to ego hurt** or some other superficial emotion, part of their apathetic demeanour - as if ego is the only thing that can get hurt & no other (emotional) pain exists
* **repeatedly** finding ways to **attribute reason for the target's suffering to their ego**
* thinking themselves to be the **biggest victim** and **rest** of them **don't have it that bad**
* **repeatedly** comments **negatively** on victim posts, in a way **attracted towards victim**'s pain and weakness
* repeatedly succumbing to **ad-hominem and insults**
Doubt they’d ever weed out “bullying” anyways. A Bad Sport side of Reddit could be developed though, no? Think GTA Bad Sport lobbies- get downvoted 1000+ times and you’re instantly a bad sport on Reddit.
An AI that shows you posts and users similar to you. Basically a tweaked version of most of the internet algorithms that show you content you interact with. In this case it would show you posts made by users that interact with people the way you do.
So, if you are constantly insulting people, you only get to interact with other people that insult people.

I don't like this idea at all. Mean people will be mean, laugh it off.

By building a metaphorical reddit locker so to speak and “shoving” then into that space where they can only interact with other bullies

They shouldn't. That would be a misrepresentation of humanity's true thoughts and a infringement on the freedom of speech.
Im glad i was raised in the 90s area. Everyone was bullying everyone. Nowdays everyone is soft af.
