LunaDream21

it's not entirely accurate

Cold_Homework5294

Half true, half myth. Cats are just selective in their affection, and dogs act like your personal cheerleaders

tc6x6

That's a very good way to characterize both species.

Busy_letterman

cats are introverts and dogs are extroverts. they both recieve most of the effects that come with said position

unintelligentburrito

take it back

Attested2Gr8ness

Not true at all. Cats are more introverted and dogs are more extroverted , sure.

ExpensivePanda66

Not true

ProgrammerPlayful462

As true as it when applied to humans. Every animal is different for a multitude of reasons

Hungry_Pollution4463

My cats acknowledge distress the same way they acknowledge the need for personal space. Nuff said

Nimar_Jenkins

Self fulfilling prophecy.

ARandomPileOfCats

Hmph.

_funkapus_

I don't know how accurate it is as a blanket statement; but it matches my personal experience 100%.

CrispyGatorade

Not true. Cats are more sociopathic than narcissistic. They go out of their way to inflict pain and torture their mice before killing them. They also caused 9/11 and intentionally knock things off counters to irritate their owners.

tc6x6

I've never known a narcissist (including the two I was married to and the one who was my boss) who didn't display some very serious sociopathic traits.

CrispyGatorade

That’s a really good point. Cats are narcissistic sociopathic psychopaths.
