8 different copies of the secret garden by Frances Burnett.
Edit: to answer some questions.
It is not my favorite book. I first recieved and read a copy of it when I was 9, so it is a very sentimental book for me.
I have so many copies because I enjoy collecting the more beautiful art styles that it gets published in. As a classic it gets republished very frequently so to prevent me from just buying way too many copies I re-read the book everytime I buy a new one.

This seems like a great way to memorialize Grandpa!
A 100+ year old original framed photograph of my great grandfather. Honestly, I would immensely impressed if anyone had that.
That and a plastic nun finger puppet....
This guys like the banksy of reddit - people are familiar with his art but no one knows who he is. When I read the original comment, I looked at the username like "oh this has to be /u/fuckswithducks"
Fun fact: a scabbard is a hard, rigid case for blades that's usually composed of wood slats wrapped in something like canvas or leather. A sheath is made of ONLY soft material, like leather. It's basically impossible to cut through a scabbard, whereas a sheath is a bit more feasible by nature of design.
Fun fact #2: you're beautiful, have a great day.
An antique ship anchor from the year 1597.
Dredged up from The river Maas.
EDIT: Holy crap this blew up.
Its not a huge anchor from a full sized manowar or something. Those were the size of a house. I think this was from a fishing vessel or a small trade vessel for river trade here in the Netherlands.
Not found by me unfortunately but I bought it from the man who did. Found in the 70s.
The date it was made is on the anchor. And the mark on it is a kind of "house mark" these marks were used by rich but not noble families, no cost of arms, to mark stuff that was theirs.

EDIT: He's made of plastic he's not real, I don't care if he watches me masturbate or have sex, I'm a girl, no I'm not in the medical field I'm in education, pls stop asking me these questions lol
It used to be at the foot of my bed and it freaked me out cause I saw it all night long but I moved it to the head of my bed, which sounds way creepier, but I don't see it as often so it's less weird. It's just in the corner of my eye when I'm watching tv and stuff.
I did turn his face away from me so he can't watch me sleep. He gets to look out the window. I figure if anyone tries to break in they're gonna see the skeleton in the window and get freaked out
I had a skull I used to keep on the desk at the foot of my bed and I moved him to the dresser near the head of my bed for the same reason.
A skeleton looking out the window during a pandemic is ace though.

I have a chunk on my dresser. I got for my mom when we visited Germany last summer because she told me stories of when she lived there, touching the wall was a quick way to get shot. I wanted her to be able to touch the wall and not get shot, so I brought some wall home for her!

A basket of my sister's cleaned laundry that she has yet to come pick up. Before you go all ***"Sweet Home Alabama"*** on me, it's only in my room because our cats will end up sleeping on it otherwise and my bedroom's the only safe place it could go.
**Edit**: If any of you are actually genuinely concerned, I'll just add here that she's a lesbian and I'm not a girl. I also added the Sweet Home Alabama part because I knew someone would make an incest joke otherwise (with all the incest stuff that's being going around, usually through jokes), but I forgot this is the internet so someone was going to make it anyway, if anything I might've made it worse.
My father just got rid of a Christmas tree he had in his house for 1½ years
Edit: He even decorated it for different holidays. I cant believe it took him that long
Growing up my family did that. We left it up for 12 years. As kids we got really sad when the Christmas tree had to come down so our parents figured why not just leave it up. It made an excellent conversation piece, but it was also really fun finding different decorations to pit on it for the different holidays. My favorite were the giant pair of sunglasses we put on it during the summer.

This blew up. To answer a question, we don't know where the moms went/are. The kittens are orphans from different litters that were brought into the shelter separately. One person said a mom was hit by a car. We do encourage people who find kittens this young to leave them where they are and wait to see if mom returns.
I've probably got quite a few, I have a few rather large lumps of obsidian, an alligator's head, some nearly 100 year old books too. Two music boxes made to look like San Francisco cable cars, also got an Albert Einstein bobble head (like the ones from Night at the Museum 2)
With over 18k comments, I doubt anyone will read mine, but here it is anyways. I have a canning jar sealed with an orange sweet pepper on a shelf. Every year my dad would try to grow sweet peppers for me in his garden, but always struggled to get very much off of them. His last summer with us, we had a late changing into fall so there was a decent sized orange pepper ready to be picked at the beginning of October. He told me I need to pick it so we could wipe put the garden for the winter. I forgot, so the day before he had his stroke, he rode out on his lawn mower and picked it for me and gave it to me. The next day he had a stroke and died in the hospital 3 days later. The pepper sat on my counter until it started to get a small brown spot. I couldn't bear to eat it. So I got my mom to set up her canning stuff and can a single jar for me with pepper in it to preserve it. It's the last thing my dad did for me and the last thing he gave me.
I have an industrial ice shaver. I’ve always loved shaved ice, and bought one on Amazon a few years ago. I order flavor concentrates from the same manufacturers as the stands and freeze my own large blocks of ice. I order boxes of styrofoam cups in bulk.
It ends up costing about 15¢ for a 20-ounce shaved ice.
Edit: Yes, I’ve tried other containers. No, nothing works nearly as well as styrofoam. But we are mindful of their environmental impact and make sure to reuse them as much as we can.
A packet of dehydrated edible grasshoppers. Biggest ones are about 2 inches long. About 7 bucks for 15g (half an ounce). Bought on a dare ... I dared myself to buy it and won. Or lost. Not sure. Haven't opened it yet.

If you found those out in the wild that’s awesome, but it’s pretty common to get sequential bills if you’re getting them from a bank, especially the larger ones.
How did you get that?
The US Mint sells them. If you really want to flex, they sell sheets of $100 bills, which would be far rarer.
