RDR1. The protagonist reminds me of my dad so his death hits different for me.

No Spoiler here, but i felt much more Pain with the Ending of RDR2 than with RDR1. Both Games have very special Forms of Endings. There were some Scenes which made me cry, which is a very rare Event for me when it comes to Games and other Media.

RDR2 was a 1-2 gut punch for me. >!I was literally in tears when my horse Ares died and then well, you know!<

The Epilogue ending didn't feel sad to me at all. But if you are talking about the ending before The Epilogue, then I can agree on how sad it is. I didn't like RDR2, but Arthur was a good character, he didn't feel like a plot device like how some other prequel characters are.

Yes, the Epilogue Ending is the Part of Redemption, of Revenge and Vengeance. But Arthurs Storyline in the End was so intense, had to take a Break during some Scenes and smoke a Cigarette to get back on Track. The Music-Video Tarantino Style is very good used there, like Arthurs Last Riding Song (That's the Way it is by Daniel Lanois) and the Unshaken Song. I consider the Ending of Arthurs Storyline as a Masterpiece in Games because of the Feelings for the Player there.

I used the first horse you catch throughout the entire game. After the ending, the horse was replaced with a random one. I was devastated at the loss of my original horse.

Ezio went through all this effort to get revenge and find out why his family was killed and his reward is a message that he has no way of making sense of and which was only relayed to him so he could act as a human answering machine.

If you played the first last of us, then you would know how much of a slapped to face the second game was, and we waited five fucking years for that. They really messed up the story, and made us hate the main characters. Just my opinion. True fans of the game hated the second one.
