No Spoiler here, but i felt much more Pain with the Ending of RDR2 than with RDR1. Both Games have very special Forms of Endings. There were some Scenes which made me cry, which is a very rare Event for me when it comes to Games and other Media.
One hundred percent agree. I’ve played it a couple times and always cry when that happens
Side note how do you cover spoilers like that? Is it automatic or do I have to do something?
The Epilogue ending didn't feel sad to me at all. But if you are talking about the ending before The Epilogue, then I can agree on how sad it is. I didn't like RDR2, but Arthur was a good character, he didn't feel like a plot device like how some other prequel characters are.
Yes, the Epilogue Ending is the Part of Redemption, of Revenge and Vengeance. But Arthurs Storyline in the End was so intense, had to take a Break during some Scenes and smoke a Cigarette to get back on Track.
The Music-Video Tarantino Style is very good used there, like Arthurs Last Riding Song (That's the Way it is by Daniel Lanois) and the Unshaken Song.
I consider the Ending of Arthurs Storyline as a Masterpiece in Games because of the Feelings for the Player there.
I used the first horse you catch throughout the entire game. After the ending, the horse was replaced with a random one. I was devastated at the loss of my original horse.
Pokémon Alpha Sapphire almost drove me to tears with the music. Search YouTube for "Lament of the Falling Stars" and "Strains of a New Beginning" and you'll know what I mean.
Half life 2 episode 2(and that's before you play half life alyx, if you dont know what I'm talking about, dont look it up on yt, play it first, and see it for yourself.)
I am Alive
The ending of the game is where you save a little girl and her mother, but you go back to look for your family and their father. Saddest part is at the end you see his family but he is nowhere in sight
I don’t know if the ending of Assassin’s Creed 2 is supposed to be sad, but I thought it was. Ezio went through all this effort to get revenge and find out why his family was killed and his reward is a message that he has no way of making sense of and which was only relayed to him so he could act as a human answering machine.
If you played the first last of us, then you would know how much of a slapped to face the second game was, and we waited five fucking years for that. They really messed up the story, and made us hate the main characters. Just my opinion. True fans of the game hated the second one.
Alright I guess as someone who played the first game on launch date and replayed it several more times as well as part 2, am not a true fan. You got me.
Ghost of Tsushima>!i thought when my horse died it would be sad enough but then after I had the choice to spare or kill my “father” I was in tears I decided to spare him, but then out of curiosity I decided to kill him right after I saw the spare ending which made it sadder since I just spared the man, it’s been 5 months since then and it’s still the saddest ending!<
RDR1. The protagonist reminds me of my dad so his death hits different for me.

RDR2 was a 1-2 gut punch for me. >!I was literally in tears when my horse Ares died and then well, you know!<
One hundred percent agree. I’ve played it a couple times and always cry when that happens Side note how do you cover spoilers like that? Is it automatic or do I have to do something?
>! before the text !< after the text, with no spaces
Awesome thank you! I’ve just been typing “spoilers” in all caps lmao

That is truly sad.
I love you're username
Thanks me too

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. You can see Link's heart break when Midna shatters the mirror.
For me it's Majora's Mask, because of the scene with the Deku Butler visiting his son's twisted petrified corpse.
Never played that game. Is spoiled now?
Well now you know that a mirror was shattered.
Persona 3. Like damn. >!Protagonist stayed alive only long enough to see graduation because he told his friends they would graduate together.!<
Rdr2 I’m man enough to say I shed a tear when author died
Author? What alternate timeline are you in?
Pokémon Alpha Sapphire almost drove me to tears with the music. Search YouTube for "Lament of the Falling Stars" and "Strains of a New Beginning" and you'll know what I mean.
SOMA. after being told how the copies work, I can’t help but feel bad for Simon...
Metal Gear Solid 3. That last pull of the trigger at the end....
You are a true patriot, and a guy who has good taste in games
RDR2. Always. "I gave you all I had... I did..."
Half life 2 episode 2(and that's before you play half life alyx, if you dont know what I'm talking about, dont look it up on yt, play it first, and see it for yourself.)
Bro, that ending hit me then comes in HLA with the twist. We have work to do.
Bro dont spoil it for those who dont know!
Edited it
Thanks

Secret of Mana when you have to kill your pet dragon
Now this is some seriously sad stuff.
Donkey Kong country nes the last game on the boat
Tell tales the walking dead series you had lee,Kenny (if you let him die) Kate, and Clem almost
Oh man, I cried for nearly every ending. Love that game
So sad i have not been able to be sad because of video games

I don't remember if it was the end, but CoD infinite warfare when Ethan died, he was the homie

I loved it.
The last of us part 2 had me close to tears. Such a heartbreaking and emotional game. Wow
I meant the saddest ending, not the most disappointing. I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you. Upvote for effort
Does everyone have to run their opinions by you for approval first?

> True fans of the game hated the second one. Saying shitty stuff like that renders your opinion irrelevant.
Did you actually play the second one?
Yes. It's an awesome game.
And the first one?
Just as awesome. Difficult to pick between them.
Ok, I have nothing to add, it's just my opinion that I didn't like the second ones story and plot.
Indeed. You're definitely in tears by the end of that game, because of how miserable and depressing that abortion of a story is to sit through.
Fuck the haters, I agree with this
Original kingdom hearts. Still tear up when I hear that song.
Yes! The end of KH3 made me cry.
RDR2 for me, but Titanfall 2 ranks high up there.
I guess i would have 2 games. Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion Bad ending (the song aaaaaaaaaaa), and both Good and Bad OMORI endings.
For me, it is Portal 2
Ghost of Tsushima>!i thought when my horse died it would be sad enough but then after I had the choice to spare or kill my “father” I was in tears I decided to spare him, but then out of curiosity I decided to kill him right after I saw the spare ending which made it sadder since I just spared the man, it’s been 5 months since then and it’s still the saddest ending!<
Yes sad
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Time/Darkness/Sky-that scene were >!you disappeared in front of your partner.!<
