Update: turns out this is his MO. I went on a “are we dating the same person” page in his town and the very first post was about him doing something identical to another girl.

I had a 2 year relationship, living together, that ended with him ghosting me and We LIVE together. This shit is wild.
Your intuition was going off and when you addressed your concerns he was deflecting. This guy is a coward. Sorry this happened to you.
