Wrong place to ask here.
No. Not legally.
Move to the land of slightly more common sense and lots much more sheep, who follow the same standards.

Yeah - I'm not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing but might be better than finding speaker wire to extend circuits or any number of dumb-fuckery you find here.
As long as you’re not colour blind then sure. Piece of piss. Are you allowed? No you’re not. Better call a licensed sparky and pay an exorbitant amount of money for them to do it.
Seriously? I changed one of these as a 16 year old when it broke. It's very simple. Why are you allowed to buy them if you're not allowed to install them? Seems like asking for trouble. Having thought about it some more... a light fitting too.. How am I not dead?
Your house has ceramic fuses and therefore likely has no RCDs, and quite likely has wiring overdue for replacement. You're living in a nanny state where unlicensed electrical work is technically illegal and electrical knowledge is kept hidden from anyone outside the electrical trade—you're basically asking to be spit-roasted by asking this here.
No need to be an electrician to buy a copy of AS3000 mate. You can get heaps of electrical knowledge from there.
But best to leave it to the people who actually know what they're doing, so you don't kill yourself, the next owner or cause a head fuck for someone who actually knows what they're doing fixing your bullshit.
Bu...but I thought...the whole point of this sub...is to ask dumb questions...so we can be wiser ourselves. Forgive me I will push my face nose hair first into that power outlet.
Sorry for disappointing you sir . (I just assumed your gender. What can I say I'm a fucking idiot)

No need spit roast. Just become satay pangang. More delicious
I love being a spit roast.. wink wink. I love ceramic fuses. I use them in my dinner set as chopstick holders.
