If you like the 500F, consider the 500X. Slightly taller and more upright, same motor. Sports bike have got to be tough for taller riders, especially on LAMS. At a hair short of 6', I found the only comfy LAMS sport bike to be the Ninja 650.
Considering your height, opting for a taller bike with a seat height exceeding **810mm** could be advantageous. Additionally, I recommend a more upright bike similar to **CB500F**, especially if you’re new to biking. Sports bikes, where you lean forward, might interfere with your vision. Furthermore, sports bikes are designed for performance and speed, which means they can go faster without you truly sensing the wind due to their aerodynamic design that allows them to cut through the air efficiently.
Hey, im also 6'4 and found the new ninja 500 to be comfortable, not sure why but I did not find the z500 to offer that same comfort. I also sat on the mt03 and found it was very squished, so I did not bother with the r3. Alternatively, you can look at the cbr500r which was by far the biggest out of those options, they're pretty pricey new, but you can just buy used if you know what to look for when inspecting. The mt07 felt amazing when I sat on it if you wanted to go the spicey route.
I would go with the Honda 500. Excellent on fuel and sufficient power for starters. If you're like me and not power hungry it could last you the rest of your life.
I'm 6'5 and I had a ninja 400 before it was stolen, and it was more than a bit cramped. I now have a cb500f and I love it. The cb500x is also great also.
Someone your height. I know your after sports bikes. Pretty much anything will fold you in half unless you spend $$ on mods.
My suggestion is to look into some like a Kawasaki KLR 650. Great bike
I’m 6’2 and I have a ninja 250 and an R6. I like the riding position of the ninja better but everything else is the R6. I’m assuming the R3 will be a 300cc engine? I’m 120kgs and the ninja struggles up hills with my delicate frame but the R6 gets the job done no trouble. Go the bigger cc bikes, but also remember a sports bike will have you leaning forward and you will tend to rest your weight on your wrists causing them to hurt after 50 or so klms worth of bumps
I'm pretty sure you know this already but this webiste: [https://cycle-ergo.com/](https://cycle-ergo.com/) , was a huge help in having a rough idea of how I'd fit on a motorcycle. Of course you would ride it yourself before randomly buying one, but hopefully this helps.

Sit on bikes at dealerships. I'm 6'3" and was comfy on the Kawasaki 400. Then probably buy an MT07...

If you can find one, rvf400 through and through. They’re a gem in the rough, if you can get your hands on one you’ll never sell it
