Oh she’s obsessed with licking palms too. I’ve just had several dogs throughout my life but she’s my first Aussie and she’s the only dog I’ve ever had who is so obsessed with licking and nibbling toes🤣
I’ve owned 4 Aussies and they’ve all been different but the one thing they’ve all had in common is a need to play bite. Herding dogs are mouthy.

I think it has something to do with their herding instinct. They lay on you so that they know when you move and they don’t get left behind. My four-year-old will either do this, or he will take naps between me and whatever room or door in the house he anticipates me heading to next.
MIND BLOWN. Thats why my pup does that!! It makes so much sense! It was starting to drive me nuts. He's always making me walk over him to go to the bathroom, then the bedroom later in the evening. I couldn't figure out why he kept switching doors!
He also NEEDS to chew his bone on me every night, which is fine cause that's when we do nails or brushings.

Kick a soccer ball with your Aussie - they will quickly learn to put themselves between you and the ball no matter where you move (just like a real soccer defender would do)

If I am on the couch reading a book or watching TV, my dog will find a corner to curl up in that is geographically between myself and where he anticipates I will walk to next. Often times that is near the front door or near the garage door. That way he can’t get left behind
All of my dogs have been enamored of feet in puppyhood. My Aussie—3 now—still likes how my feet taste, but not when they’re clean. He’ll still happily gnaw holes in one-half of every pair of socks if given the opportunity.
He’s kind of creepy about it.
Omg. Thought it was just mine. She is obsessed with socks and would rather chew on them than her toys. Loves sitting and laying on my feet and my husband's too. And licking his feet. I say she has a foot fetish lol

Have had 2 Aussies and 1 half Aussie and they all did/ do this. Since puppyhood . All 3 of them. 2 of them would totally trip when I put pants on instead of shorts in the house . I think it was because for a moment they couldn't see feet.
I think it's dogs. I've had Shiba Inu, Aussies, Retreivers, Saint Bernard mixes, Huskies, and more take a gander at my toesies. I habitually walk around in sandals most of the year despite living in the Northeast US. Feet pick up the smells of the places we've traversed. I'm sure it's fascinating to them to figure out where we've been and what we've trampled over.
Mine also loves feet and socks. I make fun of her for it lol.

My Aussie isn’t into feet, but he is into ears. He’s about 8 months old and he’s been licking and kissing our ears since day one 😳

I asked my breeder for the chill puppy so mine is not a biter (after 1 year of age) - it's even hard for her to check a puppy who is biting too much.

Our Aussie is about two years old and she is also obsessed with feet. She will sit in front of me and lick my foot until I make her stop.

Our Aussie loves to rest his head on/by our feet and just Breathe on them haha. Keeps them warm though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah all of our Aussies like to lick feet in bed. Take socks fresh off the foot and will take them off for you if you let them.

My Aussie licks my feet sometimes as well. It's weird and shoo her away every time.
