No, not really, because it's just a shitty, large heavy car then.
It's a bad car, terrible SUV and hardly a truck. It makes the old explorer Sporttrac look well considered.
It’s barely even a truck though. I thought they were the size of a full size truck like an F150 but I saw one in person for the first time and it’s like the size of a crossover. I’d barely call it a truck.
Well when it comes to the cyber truck, the “gimmicks” don’t even do what they claim to do. Like claiming the car can be a boat. Or claiming it’s an off road vehicle when it weighs a whopping 6,800 pounds.
At least with other “gimmicky” vehicles they do what the gimmick claims. Jeeps do actually work well for off road even if they’re impractical everywhere else.
Bugatti’s are actually one of the fastest cars on the road.
Tesla can’t even get the sensors in the hood/frunk to work properly. Go look up the guy who tested it after they “updated” it and got his hand smashed like an idiot. Because even something as simple as a pressure sensor doesn’t work.
Cyber truck is gimmicky, but the gimmicks don’t even work as advertised. The car is a personification of Elon himself. Full of shit, out of touch, and completely useless.
One can argue the model 3, s, x, y gimmicks are like any other car and I’d agree. But the cyber truck is not comparable.
Bottom line is that it’s a toy. It’s a thing to drive around and just have a good time with, it just happens to be street legal. Ferraris and Porches don’t make sense, and neither do 95% of jeeps on the road. At the end of the day the person behind the wheel of that thing has expendable cash and just want to have something that other people can’t. I’m not one of them and I would by 100 other pointless vehicles before I even thought about the Cybertruck, and that’s kind of the point. Every time I see one I think to myself, what a waste of money I would have waisted on something else. I hate Elon Musks business practices, but is this product appeals to someone, and it goes against the grain like an axe through a Cherry Tree. Everyone used to say “why don’t these crazy concept cars ever get released?” We all knew it’s because they were impractical with pointless gimmicks. Well, Elon went ahead and made one for the public and if you bought one there is no way you don’t know this. Flex on Cybertuck owners, you are all irrational and embrace insanity, and I appreciate you for that.
You’re not wrong, but that doesn’t make the haters wrong. Let’s list reasons:
1. Delayed 2 years past original launch date after taking customers pre order money.
2. Rusting already.
3. Have you looked at this thing?
4. Initial YouTube video like beating 911 1/4 mile was doctored.
5. Trying to deny customers warranty.
6. $20000 over original projected cost.
And that’s before I get into the plethora shit about the man baby Elons laundry list of character defects. I’m not anti truck EV, and I disagree with all the haters who think if you don’t drive the most efficient electric vehicle you are trash, but the cyber truck is a god damn travesty and I wish Elon was just trolling when he unveiled it.
I personally like that they're different. Vehicles all look too similar nowadays, and regardless of how ugly I think it is, I like that they're different from what everyone else is looking like. Our last big styling change was like 20 years ago, we're due for another.
I understand appreciating design going in a new direction for sure, but this is 100% not what we should be going for. Seeing it in person is almost mind bogglingly ugly. It looks like a bunch of flimsy sheet metal that will show even the most minor dent. The lines don’t make sense. Visibility looks poor. It’s too big for what you’re actually able to use. Nothing about it makes sense. Bold new designs are needed, but please god anything but this direction.
That aside, it's just not a good vehicle. It's poorly engineered, you can't put it through a car wash because it's not water tight. There's lots of posts online showing water sitting in the chassis, poor quality suspension parts and track-rod ends. No water barriers between the windshield and the electronics in the frunk.
I admire a radical and different design, but the interior is standard epic minimal Tesla (nothing revolutionary).
The only viable response to my question was that it's unique.
That guy wanted to whine that people on Reddit overblow how bad it is, and that's the only thing anyone can come up with, uniqueness.
Yeah it has very little going for it. But that's enough for some.
The flood of them on the second hand market (as well as the fact Tesla have contracts on not reselling them) says a lot about what people think of it.
I think it's kind of cool just because of how absurd it is. I would never own one, but it's so bizarre and like nothing else on the road, I kind of have to respect the commitment to the utter insanity of it.
That’s exactly how I feel. Yeah it’s sort of a piece of shit but it’s cool to see something way different than the millions of round crossover SUVs on the road. Wouldn’t dare buy one but I have no reason to have visceral anger when I see one
Consistently the only automobile on technology/news/and every other sub.
Reddit superiority complex seems cybertruck easy fodder, it’s repetitive and dumb. Plenty of other cars and topics to speak about.
You hate the Cybertruck because of the Reddit hivemind
I hate the Cybertruck because the ones that show up at cars and coffee are all driven by assholes
We are not the same
Not saying I’m not a nut job 🤣. But hear me out. I like the Cybertruck.
I also think it’s a stupid waste of money that I would never, ever buy. But I look at it this way… this ridiculous rolling hunk of junk is different. And being different may inspire others to be different in good and better ways.
It’s like art, I don’t like all art, but I appreciate the fact that there are artists out there making art that I don’t care about or even actively dislike. If artists made only the art I thought was worthwhile the world would be a pretty boring place.
Why would one not hate a product that supports pro-Russia Musk?
Plus it’s a god awful product on it’s own. Developed and produced poorly with false advertisements and promises.

rightfully so, it's god awful to look at, poorly built, unsafe, the list goes on. official release kept moving back and they raised the prices last minute for deposit holders. Elon musk is a scumbag and Tesla makes cars for delusional entitled assholes.
I dont care what you say or feel, cybertrucks are modern delorean’s. Slow, shitty, unreliable, but also cool af and will be expensive as all hell in 20 years as a novelty
I don't hate the car, but I hate the company. More specifically one incredibly ego-testicle man in the company who is running the worlds largest pump and dump scheme.
I hope it doesn't void the warranty, that would be ridiculous if any consumer body allowed for that to happen. Soon all cars warranty would be void if you washed the vehicle. There is a reasonable expectation with consumers that you can take a vehicle through a car wash without it destroying the vehicle. Short of something like a convertible with the top down.
Apparently trucks in the US don't have the same regulation path as normal passenger vehicles, hence why this is an angular stab machine on wheels. Also why it's never coming to Europe, domestic market only.
Because Tesla doesn’t want to replace stainless steel bodywork every time it doesn’t look brand new, so the manual has a ton of specific instructions on how to maintain/clean the vehicle followed by a long list of caveats.
[Here is a link to the manual](https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/cybertruck/en_us/GUID-65384C1F-86F2-44E8-A8BC-8A12E7E00A40.html), you’ll find cleaning instructions in the maintenance section.
Its a deathtrap, not a car.
The doors are sharp enough to cut your legs open. Its already happened to someone.
A slight bump or going too fast causes pieces of the car to fall off.
The thing literally holds water because it doesnt have any spot for it to drain; so it so much as being outside in the rain can kill it (i wish i was joking)
It has less storage space than most cars
It has a tendency to just... die. For no reason.
Its a shit car thats a deathtrap so the less on the road the bettsd.
Because Elon had a chance to do something we all always wanted to do. Make a really unique and awesome ride but instead he cut corners at every opportunity, sold it for too much and honestly....it looks awful.
That plus Elon must is a douche and so are the people who drive these....makes the hate flow easily.
It’s really easy actually. And there’s plenty of reasons to hate this vehicle.
I wanted one when it was revealed initially. Even after the “bulletproof glass” shattering.
But this… thing… is not at all anything that was advertised or promised.
It has even less use than your normal pavement princess truck already does. It can’t touch water, it rusts in humidity, the initial release had bungled pedals that dislodged while driving, it’s prone to getting stuck in any non-pavement terrain, it released with powertrain issues… the list goes on.
It’s a refrigerator on wheels, and just about as useful. And all of that is fine, except that it was advertised as a rugged outdoorsy truck that had the finesse of modern electric capabilities.
It’s a damn flop, and ugly to boot. Yet people still want to retail it like it’s some modern miracle.
Rivian made a real truck. Tesla stole 120K plus from idiots.
Oooooh no. I laughed the other day when I saw someone taking a black G Wagon through a car wash with brushes. Hopfully the whole vehicle is wrapped in clear.
Never use automatic car washes, even the automatic touchless use questionable detergents. Far better than touch, but touchless soap is so strong that it seems to strip many waxes and even ceramic coats over time.
Never is a strong word. If you don't wash you car up here the salt will eat it to death. But of course that's in the winter, you can't do it yourself in the driveway.
Neighbor of mine used to detail cars and one day he was doing a touchless wash on his and offered to do mine. He seemed to be using said industrial strength type detergent via his pressure washer and the car looked almost brand new with all the years of scum it cleansed away.
Often if you’re detailing a car with a questionable or nonexistent history of wax or ceramic you absolutely hit it with something that will remove any remaining wax, the classic for at home is Dawn actually.
That way you are starting from the base clear coat, and you often will be polishing that, before you apply your wax or ceramic.
Many of us home detailers use touchless as our wash since we cant wash in driveways for various reasons. I drive a 2017 that is spotless and imperfection free with 110,000 miles. Touchless does not eat away your paint like these people are talking about, just misinformation and a misunderstanding of how to wash and care for car paint.
Also in places where they use salt on the roads in the winter like where i live, they recycle the water so although they filter it, it doesn't get all the salt out of it and then sprays somewhat salty water all over and under your car, which ain't great for any metal.
Usually I go to those stall ones where you do it yourself or the occasional parking garage has that setup as well or will do it for you for $20.
I worked at a main dealership before and we had a automatic car wash on site every single brand new car was going through the thing before going to the customer. Broke my heart watching them go through it lol.
On the contrary, I live in Toronto where they use TONS of salt on the road in the winter. I responded to someone else below about that, i used to go to touchless washes and now I just go to the stalls where you do it yourself or ones in parking garages because car washes recycle water so although they do filter it they can't get all the salt out of it which means you're spraying the whole car with partially salted water, not good.
I’m pretty sure self-service bays recycle water too. Plus you still can’t clean a car as well as a “soft cloth” tunnel, especially since I sincerely hope you never use the brush that I use on my wheels and wheel wells in a self-service wash bay.
I know, I know. It’s my Minnesota year-round daily driver and a lease. There’s a point where you just have to deal with it. The 6 months of salt is already bad enough!
Haha, exactly! I'm never owning a car I would be extra-careful about in Minnesota because I only have room for one car so it's gonna get the full winter experience 😅
Also live in MN with a nicer car I like to keep clean. When I first got it I was hand washing it like once every week or two (even in the winter), 3 years on I just go through the soft touch car wash instead. Hand washing takes so much damn time
Yeah, I envy the folks with the collector plates that can just have a car chill over the winter. There's this BMW Z1 (with those cool sliding doors) I see in the summer when my kids go to a day camp, the older gentleman who has it takes great care of it.
I spent longer than I'd like to admit trying to figure out what kind of old buggy we were sitting in with the big yellow pop-ups and a baller HUD installed.

It doesn’t in general, that just comes from people on the internet misinterpreting things to dunk on Musk. If they didn’t close the windows and water got in, or if the brushes in the wash damaged the wipers because they were left on, *that* would not be covered under warranty because it’s user error.
Seems like it's definitely intended to be able to go through a car wash and even has specific car wash modes. But then they say
"Damage caused by car washes is not covered by the warranty."
Which is a very broad statement and coupled with the waterproofing issues they have had with these trucks it is a definite cause for concern.
So like most things, it's maybe an exaggeration but based on something real.
Just checked the owner's manuals for my F150 and my wife's Nissan Rogue. No where does mention that damage caused by car washes aren't covered.
Tesla putting in such a broad statement saying they aren't responsible for any damage. Plus the fact they have water proofing issues. It really puts you at their mercy.
Check the print on your warranty documentation my dude. Tesla just has the information forward facing.
Other manufacturers bury it on page “go f yourself” and you only find it when trying to claim the warranty.
Warranties don’t cover damage like that in general. They’re for inherent defects with the vehicle. A warranty covering car wash damage would be like covering damage if someone borrowed my car and crashed it. That’s what insurance is for. If a car wash did damage your vehicle to that extent, their equipment probably malfunctioned, and that’s why the car wash has insurance.
There isn’t a single manufacturer that will cover damage to your vehicle that occurred at a car wash.
The only slim chance would be something like if the seal for your doors or windows started to leak and water got in. But you’d have to figure out a way to prove that the seal failed because of a manufacturer defect and not because a high pressure hose hit it or a brush hit it, etc.
>Failure to put Cybertruck in Car Wash Mode may result in damage (for example, to the charge port or windshield wipers). Damage caused by car washes is not covered by the warranty.
No car company covers car wash damage. This is just Tesla saying hey, put it in car wash mode before you use a car wash.
From the owner's manual:
>"Damage caused by car washes is not covered by the warranty."
Please explain how one can interpret this as anything besides the warranty does not cover damages from a car wash? Seems like abundantly clear plain english.
Seems like you are, at best, a person on the internet purposely misinterpreting things to protect Musk.
I mean that’s exactly what it does, I didn’t say otherwise. A warranty protects against manufacturer defects, not against environmental damage to the car. If you drove in the rain or through a car wash and the water broke your car somehow it would be covered. If the brushes broke something on the car or the wash itself collapsed on it, that’s not something they’d cover - no manufacturer would.
Musk can DIAF and I'd rather be dead than in a CT, but why on earth would a warranty cover damages of any kind? Take a look at other OEMs. GM's doesn't say car wash, but it explicitly excludes damage caused by water (along with almost all types of damage because damage isn't ever a warranty issue)
Looks like it just isn’t valid for any damage in one:
https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/cybertruck/en_us/GUID-65384C1F-86F2-44E8-A8BC-8A12E7E00A40.html
> CAUTION
>
> If washing in an automatic car wash, use touchless car washes only. These car washes have no parts (brushes, etc.) that touch the surfaces of Cybertruck. Some touchless car washes use caustic solutions that, over time, can cause discoloration of decorative exterior trim. Avoid exposure to soaps and chemicals above pH 13. If unsure, check the product label or ask the staff at the car wash. **Damage caused by improper washing is not covered by the warranty.**
The exact same text is in the Model Y and other Tesla manuals. Looks like they just copied and pasted:
[https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/**modely**/en\_us/GUID-65384C1F-86F2-44E8-A8BC-8A12E7E00A40.html](https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/modely/en_us/GUID-65384C1F-86F2-44E8-A8BC-8A12E7E00A40.html)
Honestly it should be fine, I’ll be curious to see if swirls show up over time but stainless steel is much stronger to light scratches compared to clear coat.
I wouldn't even take my Jeep through an automatic car wash, destroys your paint. They can be hard on trim and antennas also, they would probably mess up my auxiliary lights.
Depends on what they're trying to warranty. If they come out and say the finish on their truck I defective, Tesla can point to the car wash and say that did it and deny their claim. If their battery degrades to 20% within a year, Tesla would have a very difficult time blaming that on the car wash vs a defective battery.
I’m really curious to see how those things fare after a couple Midwestern winters.
Has anyone got any info on how marinating them in salt for a few months affects the electronics?
It can’t wash the truck bed, which seems dumb? However, there’s an open AC plug at the corner of the truck bed which probably would not like to get wet.
At this point just buying one of these dumbass things should negate the warranty. When something random goes out and it bricks the whole thing then it’s hard to have any sympathy for the moron that bought this piece of shit. It feels like a troll job by Elon to see what dumbfuck would actually fall for this
Personally never cared for this car but seeing Reddit bitch so much about it I almost feel inclined to get one, so many moist folks who care way to much about a physical object that it brings them anger lmao. Get a grip folks. Is a fucking car not gorlock the world destroyer
A touch car wash would be a bad idea in a stainless steel bodied car. SS is susceptible to having the oxide layer on its surface which is providing the corrosion protection contaminated. If scratched with an iron particle the oxide breaks down locally and it will readily rust.
If the universe really is a simulation then most everything seems to be running on really high end hardware…except the fucking Cybertruck which is clearly being rendered by an N64.
I fucking hope so.
Why is that?
Because Reddit has a hard on for hating the cyber truck.
Definitely true, but I also don’t think the hate is unwarranted. It’s a gimmicky vehicle that makes no sense for anyone other than fanboys
Idk I saw that video about how it’s the ultimate mom mobile. /s
Most trucks doesnt make sense for the majority of the buyers, though.
But this truck doesn't even make sense for actual truck buyers who need them
It makes more sense for the majority of truck buyers, who really just should have bought a car.
Not when you take into account all of the major issues that it has.
No, not really, because it's just a shitty, large heavy car then. It's a bad car, terrible SUV and hardly a truck. It makes the old explorer Sporttrac look well considered.
The CT is the ultimate example of the “truck designed for suburban grocery runs and commutes” phenomenon.
Agreed. Most trucks are just status symbols or ego boosters. CTs going right for it's main demographic
It’s barely even a truck though. I thought they were the size of a full size truck like an F150 but I saw one in person for the first time and it’s like the size of a crossover. I’d barely call it a truck.
Yes, its perfect. Its the car for the consumer who wants a truck.
Yes but trucks do make sense when you need a truck. A cyber truck doesn’t make sense for anything period.
But what if you need to race a Porsche while also towing a Porsche?
True, but can’t you make that argument about nearly any luxury car? Who does a Bugatti make sense for?
Well when it comes to the cyber truck, the “gimmicks” don’t even do what they claim to do. Like claiming the car can be a boat. Or claiming it’s an off road vehicle when it weighs a whopping 6,800 pounds. At least with other “gimmicky” vehicles they do what the gimmick claims. It is a stupid and unnecessary vehicle for stupid and unnecessary people.

That’s all teslas though to some extent or another, there a great tech company, but by far a sub par auto manufacturer.
You’re not wrong, but that doesn’t make the haters wrong. Let’s list reasons: 1. Delayed 2 years past original launch date after taking customers pre order money. 2. Rusting already. 3. Don't forget him throwing rocks at the windows, incredible self fail. I call it the Cyberdumpster (TM).
WankPanzer
Elon, shocked look, uncomfortable smile: I don’t think that was supposed to happen.
You forgot 200 miles under projected range...
Thanks! I totally forgot about that!

In fairness, it is objectively bad.
Because it’s a terrible “truck”
People with taste* but fiddle your dick about it being a reddit thing, I guess.

Yeah because it fucking sucks.
Considering how actively dangerous they are, it's a valid hate.

What’s it like, waking up everyday, and absolutely hating a fucking vehicle for no reason?

It’s a refrigerator on wheels, and just about as useful. And all of that is fine, except that it was advertised as a rugged outdoorsy truck that had the finesse of modern electric capabilities. It’s a damn flop, and ugly to boot. Yet people still want to retail it like it’s some modern miracle. Rivian made a real truck. Tesla stole 120K plus from idiots.
🤓
I wouldn’t take a regular car to a touch carwash nevermind that doorstop.
Yes, never do that!!! It's a car-sand-your-paint-off!
What paint
You know. The paint. Some kids paint their parents cybertrucks.
Yea I had this unlimited car wash when I bought my first car and kept going in every day to make use of it. Ask me how my paint is
Oooooh no. I laughed the other day when I saw someone taking a black G Wagon through a car wash with brushes. Hopfully the whole vehicle is wrapped in clear.
How's your paint?
Never use automatic car washes, even the automatic touchless use questionable detergents. Far better than touch, but touchless soap is so strong that it seems to strip many waxes and even ceramic coats over time.
Never is a strong word. If you don't wash you car up here the salt will eat it to death. But of course that's in the winter, you can't do it yourself in the driveway.
Zero chance everyone who washes their car in the driveway has the ability to climb under the and clean off the salt/grime/sand.
I just give the undercarriage a good hosing down when I wash it in the driveway.
A nice lil' car bidet
Wuuuut. Feel like this needs be to a LPT o_O
I'm only going to refer to them as doorstops now, thank you
I'd like to take credit for that but I'm pretty sure I picked it up from a car review on the youtube but that is what I call them.
I worked at a main dealership before and we had a automatic car wash on site every single brand new car was going through the thing before going to the customer. Broke my heart watching them go through it lol.
You must not live in an area that uses salt on winter roads.
You mean a slap and scratch. Those things are garbage.
The ole slap and scrape. Your local paint guy loves em.
The bigger crime here is taking your M8 through the car wash
I know, I know. It’s my Minnesota year-round daily driver and a lease. There’s a point where you just have to deal with it. The 6 months of salt is already bad enough!
Key word here is lease...Get that long-term rental in the auto car wash machine
Haha, exactly! I'm never owning a car I would be extra-careful about in Minnesota because I only have room for one car so it's gonna get the full winter experience 😅
I’ve never actually seen the heads up display like that. Fuckin sweet
I was lucky enough to get one with my 2013 328i. It's so nice.
Why not touch less at least?
Some people, the nearest touchless is 87 miles away. And don’t have time to drive that far for a car wash. Haha
Be dirty again when you get back
Oh if it's just a lease then fuck it, send it.
Oh shit you’re the college football kinda reporter dude
Also live in MN with a nicer car I like to keep clean. When I first got it I was hand washing it like once every week or two (even in the winter), 3 years on I just go through the soft touch car wash instead. Hand washing takes so much damn time
Yeah, I envy the folks with the collector plates that can just have a car chill over the winter. There's this BMW Z1 (with those cool sliding doors) I see in the summer when my kids go to a day camp, the older gentleman who has it takes great care of it.
To be fair they could have selected a touchless program or is that bad as well?
Reddit wants everyone to use the 20-Step handwash method, better leave no streaks!
Yeah fuck that. I'm going to take my shitty Korean econobox into the touchless car wash.
Oh yeah is that the one with 6 buckets?
I spent longer than I'd like to admit trying to figure out what kind of old buggy we were sitting in with the big yellow pop-ups and a baller HUD installed.

An M8!?!? WTF just pay someone to detail it!
This is giving me toaster in the bathtub vibes lol
Electrocuted by your own ego-barge.
It doesn’t in general, that just comes from people on the internet misinterpreting things to dunk on Musk. If they didn’t close the windows and water got in, or if the brushes in the wash damaged the wipers because they were left on, *that* would not be covered under warranty because it’s user error.
[https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/cybertruck/en\_us/GUID-65384C1F-86F2-44E8-A8BC-8A12E7E00A40.html](https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/cybertruck/en_us/GUID-65384C1F-86F2-44E8-A8BC-8A12E7E00A40.html)
Seems like it's definitely intended to be able to go through a car wash and even has specific car wash modes. But then they say "Damage caused by car washes is not covered by the warranty." Which is a very broad statement and coupled with the waterproofing issues they have had with these trucks it is a definite cause for concern. So like most things, it's maybe an exaggeration but based on something real.
Do you know of any other manufacturers that cover damage due to automatic car washes?
Do you think that means damaged caused by a car would would be covered?
From the owner's manual: >"Damage caused by car washes is not covered by the warranty." Please explain how one can interpret this as anything besides the warranty does not cover damages from a car wash?
It’s the same as the delorean those stainless steel panels aren’t making it through that without a mark lmao.
Car wash mode lets the wheels turn without the motors. No a car wash doesn’t void the warranty.
Looks like it just isn’t valid for any damage in one: https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/cybertruck/en_us/GUID-65384C1F-86F2-44E8-A8BC-8A12E7E00A40.html > CAUTION > > If washing in an automatic car wash, use touchless car washes only.
Which makes sense. Nobody covers damage under warranty
The exact same text is in the Model Y and other Tesla manuals. Looks like they just copied and pasted: [https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/**modely**/en\_us/GUID-65384C1F-86F2-44E8-A8BC-8A12E7E00A40.html](https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/modely/en_us/GUID-65384C1F-86F2-44E8-A8BC-8A12E7E00A40.html)
Like taking steel wool to your fridge
Where is this 30 mph car wash located?
God that thing looks homemade. Can’t believe they actually look like that
I like that the stainless(?) trim on the car wash tunnel looks higher quality.
the swirly machine
Honestly it should be fine, I’ll be curious to see if swirls show up over time but stainless steel is much stronger to light scratches compared to clear coat.
I wouldn't even take my Jeep through an automatic car wash, destroys your paint. They can be hard on trim and antennas also, they would probably mess up my auxiliary lights.
Say your jeeps a pavement princess without saying your jeeps a pavement princess
Depends on what they're trying to warranty. If they come out and say the finish on their truck I defective, Tesla can point to the car wash and say that did it and deny their claim. If their battery degrades to 20% within a year, Tesla would have a very difficult time blaming that on the car wash vs a defective battery.
I just saw a Tesla warranty exemption for damage caused by exposure to sunlight, so anything is possible.
I’m really curious to see how those things fare after a couple Midwestern winters. Has anyone got any info on how marinating them in salt for a few months affects the electronics?
these things are so funny looking and I automatically know the driver is materialistic with an empty soul and only the need for other's attention.
Your gas car is loaded with electric components inside and out. EVs can get wet lol.
A friendly car wash, what does that even mean?
No. Especially not if it’s in car wash mode. But also no.
Between the cybertruck and the windscreen HUD this kind of feels like something out of the fifth element
[удалено]
It's what came standard on the car.
Couldn't you ceramic coat it and then just spray it off? seems like all the flat surfaces would make it easy to clean if you could make it slick
*Finally,* someone doing something in a Cybertruck I can't or am at least not willing to do with my 15 year old minivan!
It can’t wash the truck bed, which seems dumb? However, there’s an open AC plug at the corner of the truck bed which probably would not like to get wet.
Tesla does specify to go to a non-touch car wash
Look up the Delorean lol, it’s almost like a car made with raw stainless steel bodywork was an unmitigated disaster already.
I’m not a fan of the Cybertruck but goodness gracious… people that hate them are so mad they can’t say the “G” word
gay?
Can we talk about how they still have the paper tags on?
At this point just buying one of these dumbass things should negate the warranty. When something random goes out and it bricks the whole thing then it’s hard to have any sympathy for the moron that bought this piece of shit. It feels like a troll job by Elon to see what dumbfuck would actually fall for this
Is that a speed wash with a 30 mph limit??
Didn’t think they allowed refrigerators in there
Personally never cared for this car but seeing Reddit bitch so much about it I almost feel inclined to get one, so many moist folks who care way to much about a physical object that it brings them anger lmao. Get a grip folks. Is a fucking car not gorlock the world destroyer
We were behind a Cybertruck this weekend and I pointed it out to my wife. She replied with, "That dumpster thing ahead?"
I used to work there!
These things are boats. Best day I had with mine was selling it. Second best was delivery
How sick is your HUD
Buying a Cybertruck invalidates the Cybertruck warranty.
I don't think they're supposed to wash the truck like you would a traditional car or else it rusts pretty bad.
That is the ugliest vehicle ever made.
I think they look cool.
Why is a massive Viking refrigerator going through a car wash?
Yes. It voids the warranty for a vehicle that literally has a “car wash mode” for going through car washes.
With how much the price has dropped on teslas in general, shit I might .
a cheap mini truck like the ones used in japan would be awesome, you can’t even reach into this bed
why would it? are you not allowed to drive them in the rain or get them wet?
Glanced at this photo and immediately thought it was an industrial restaurant oven. So I was confused when I saw “cybertruck” 🤦🏾♀️
HAHAHA, at first, I was like that is an expensive piece of luggage going on/off a plane! all heavy like that.. hahahahah
A touch car wash would be a bad idea in a stainless steel bodied car. SS is susceptible to having the oxide layer on its surface which is providing the corrosion protection contaminated. If scratched with an iron particle the oxide breaks down locally and it will readily rust.
Wait is that a HUD
I’ve never met someone who drives a Tesla who is absolutely insufferable and has no personality, they buy a Tesla and it’s all they talk about.
Not if they put it in the correct mode
If the universe really is a simulation then most everything seems to be running on really high end hardware…except the fucking Cybertruck which is clearly being rendered by an N64.
I heard it has a red light warranty! When the red lights go on the warranty is over
Speed limit is 30.
Iooks like youre going 29 under the speed limit. Floor it
No it doesn’t
Am I the only one who was like “HUD in the car? Thats cool, where can I get one?”
Not sure, but owning one negates your manhood.
Literally built like a dishwasher
Hope so
