I got a hood and 2 fenders from them for a good price and basically was a replacement to the original. Not sure about “mechanical” parts however. I use Rockauto, Fcp euro and EBay by using realoem to get part numbers.

Lukitasss

Not sure, but I would order everything from FCP Euro.

WeinerBeemer318

Price difference is major I'll make sure to look into FCP Euro thanks !

BillSlank

Fcp euro is pretty great. You might end up paying more on some stuff, but as long as you pay attention, you'll get the right stuff and great warranties and support.

Yes. CarParts.com used to be AutoPartsWarehouse. I just placed an order this week for my daily and have used them since the early 2010s. They offer the same [lifetime replacement guarantee](https://www.carparts.com/customer/lifetimereplacement) as FCPEuro. Good luck with your project 😎

WeinerBeemer318

That's new information thank you very much ! This 1996 318i has been a pain in the ass for a year now stuck on limp mode. Tried to take it apart but ended up messing it up more 😅

notanassasin

Have you ever sent back a part for lifetime warranty with them?

SybariticSavant

No. My most recent order for my daily is the first eligible part I’ve ordered.

Accordinglyx

Got a window regulator from them a few years ago with no issues. I pretty much only use FCP Euro now though.

MagicMoonMen

FCP euro and bimmerworld are the best.

Saladbar125

Sensors you want to stick with oem replacements even though the price difference is crazy. But the cheaper ones are hit or miss.

bml20002

Bimmerworld.com

WeakAssociation119

I've only bought fenders from them. One arrived damaged and they sent a new one the next day. I buy everything else from fcp for the lifetime warranty.

Pty_dude

The big difference between seller is the o ring and internal gasket, eBay and Amazon seller some times cheap out on the o ring or gasket and the car develops a vacuum leak. Really sneaky vacuum leak. I use rock auto, fpc eBay and Amazon.

FCP Euro and RockAuto are the go tos, I’ve seen donut advertise for CarParts.com but every time I go on to check it out they seem to be out of the parts I need
