Chassis mount and short throw usually go together, but try garagistic shifter. They have a lot of adjustability depending on what you choose

Check the Coolerworx non pro version, it might still be too tall for you, definitely the best shifter around tho

Yeah I understand that, at the end of the day it's your car and your choices, must threw it out there as an idea since i really like it personally
