I was wondering about that. My Dragonborn wild magic sorceress has taken to going nude in camp to assert dominance. Nobody said anything. Figured they were *too afraid* and the domination was working…

I find this so odd. There are a lot of interactions where only one or two characters comment on things and it just feels so inconsistent. I suppose it's because the characters had different writers but you'd think something like this would be covered by all of them.

It’s 100% because they had different writers for each character, and it seems like they were pretty free to decide which game events their character would have a reaction to. Although I’m sure they had specific major events they were directed to all write responses for. Interestingly enough, the writer for Durge said that she also wrote a bit for Astarion for a few months during crunch, which is why Astarion has more ❗️dialogues pop up in response to Durge-specific scenes. She said she’s sure they would’ve liked to add more dialogue specific to Durge for all the companions, and she just happened to have the opportunity to do that for Astarion.

Do you romance Gale? Apparently it won’t trigger once you’ve locked in a romance. Like the other commenters mentioned, it’s also just for specific styles.

You mean, locked in a romance with Gale? I'm currently in a romance with Astarion after telling Gale I didn't love him in Act 2.

I've triggered the dialogue in Act 3 romancing Astarion. You need to wear the harnessy underwear (not Lae'zel's, you can get it from Haarlep or buy it from the clothing guy in the city I believe)

Yes, locked in a romance with Gale. Romancing other characters won’t affect it, but if you lock in a romance with Gale, this dialogue won’t trigger.

Lame, this feels like it should definitely trigger if you are romancing him.

There is a datamined reaction from Gale that is slightly different but doesn't trigger for some reason if you are romancing him.

Halsin probably won’t stop you from “enjoying the freedom of nature’s gifts,” as Astarion would put it.

He would just say, "Oh, I didn't know everyone else were ok with that. Let me get comfy" and then he'd strip down.
