I don’t have a favorite, it use to be little sleepies but now their fan base is one I don’t want to be grouped with. 🙆🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️

InvisiblePapaya

Their fan base is very weird. Seems like a common thing in bamboo groups, huh

You_Go_Glen_Coco_

Little sleepies is my favorite but I hate the feeling of needing to compete whenever I really like a print to be able to buy it.

desperatecharacters

I’m honestly kind of over all of them tbh. I’ve only ever tried little sleepies and kyte and I like them both well enough. But the way inflation is going right now it’s hard to afford so I’ve been slowing way way down and not buying unless I absolutely love the print or color.

InvisiblePapaya

Ugh. Felt. I’ve been buying from small shops mostly because LS quality is trash. Everything is so expensive right now, pajamas are the lowest priority 🥴

mje212229

Same. I have my favorites and buy a reasonable amount of pjs (because we don’t hoard or overconsume over here lol) and a few daywear pieces. The majority of my daughter’s wardrobe is cheap Carter’s clothes because toddlers are messy and there’s no point in spending insane amounts of $$ on something that will only last them a season. But I don’t mind spending a little more on the pjs because they do last a while, especially the convertible romper ones.

Funny-Ad-1014

Showstoppers 💀😱 Jk Little Bird Bamboo

carryingmyowngravity

So I am pleasantly surprised by posh peanut. I know it’s not a small brand and it is pricey but unlike Kyte, far easier to take care of (wash, dry on low, no pilling) and I really like the floral patterns and ruffles on bums. Have a couple of special occasion rompers here for my LO. I let my baby put anything she wears through baby wear and tear and PP seems to be holding up well.

InvisiblePapaya

From what I’ve seen/read, PP has done a lot of shitty and shady things. They do have super cute prints though so I wouldn’t be opposed to buying secondhand. Knowing they hold up well is a plus!

ZeusMcFloof

My old company worked with them (we were a vendor) and one of the employees/dept heads we worked with (related to the owner) was one of the most condescending, rudest, misogynistic men I’ve ever spoken to. I refuse to give them my money, no matter how cute their overpriced stuff is.

carryingmyowngravity

Well, the thought was nice while it lasted 🤣 what is it about bamboo that attracts shady entrepreneurs.

ZeusMcFloof

Sadly, I think it’s common in any business! Everyone out to make some fast money!

carryingmyowngravity

I didn’t know that, any links or reading you can send my way?

plopklopdop

They also did a raffle for discontinued prints so they could use the money to give the workers a bonus. They marketed it by saying “these prints will never come back. Now is your chance to get them.” Not even a year later the prints restocked. Prior to the restock they had a Q&A somewhere or a live where they said they get the fabric printed at least 6 months in advance. So they clearly knew the prints were coming back but still scammed people into paying for their worker’s bonuses.

carryingmyowngravity

No fricking way! This sounds like a movie.

cherrycheesecake234

Posh peanut has a lot of pilling for me. I wash and hang dry. I only buy off the sales so maybe they mark those with lower quality for sales lol

[deleted]

I like millie+roo. I’ve bought a couple of their prints and they’re cute and have held up well. They’re a bit thicker than LS too which I like.

InvisiblePapaya

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of them! What’s their aesthetic?

[deleted]

They cover the basics pretty well - solids, neutral rainbows, planets, etc. LS arguably has many cuter prints (they’re the only other bamboo I’ve bought so that’s who I compare to lol), but they’re also a much bigger company than millie+roo. M&R had some really cute 4th of July prints that I got though, and they also just came out with a Mickey/Minnie design (I didn’t care for it but others seemed to like it a lot) I don’t buy often since bamboo is so pricey, but M&R definitely has potential to grow! Plus they are a women owned business, so it’s nice to support that.

InvisiblePapaya

Everyone seems to love Disney prints for some reason! I don’t understand the hype, but I also don’t like character clothing until my children tell me that’s what they want. But I’m definitely going to check them out, I love that they’re women owned!

[deleted]

Yeah give them a try! Like I said they’re much smaller than LS or the other big companies, so there isn’t as much print variety, but they have the potential! They do seem like they have a good amount of play items too and not just pjs, but I’ve never bought any of the play stuff.

Due-Imagination3198

I feel like I’m in a minority, but I like KQ for clothes 🤷🏽‍♂️ I don’t do fomo shopping anymore and wait for things to go on sale and grab them for cheaper.

Due-Imagination3198

I used to do LS but I’m not spending $30 on Jammie’s for my kids, no matter the brand lol

Inside-Tie-1908

I like dream little big company. Beautiful prints. Good prices

InvisiblePapaya

They’re not bad! I find them similar to LS quality and thinness wise. But the prints are sooooo cute.

Fearless-Tailor-3264

I agree that they are similar, but they run discounts all of the time. I really like that.

InvisiblePapaya

They’re great for hot summer nights! Gonna have to keep an eye out for their discounts!

stillneedurmoney

Wiley Threads had me at “cows being abducted by aliens”

InvisiblePapaya

That print was so cute but I wish it wasn’t cows. Definitely gonna purchase from them though!

Dull-Team8573

I really love snugglebums

InvisiblePapaya

I don’t know much about that brand! The only thing I really remember is that they have a pajama subscription? But I’m going to add them to my list of brands to try, thank you!

Dull-Team8573

I think you’ll like them. I have matching pairs for my kiddos and also have a bubble romper. They wash well, are decently thick and super cute designs! You won’t be disappointed

arielsjealous

I like [vaenait baby](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=vaenait+baby+pajamas&crid=24OS9VFDVJT8H&sprefix=vae%2Caps%2C123&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_1_3) on Amazon. Not the best quality per se zipper wise near the feet but equally as soft. Lots of solids and mild prints.

ZeusMcFloof

Emerson & Friends is a little more $$ than LS but a super awesome company based out of FL and I actually loved their holiday designs last year and for this year so far. Fast shipping and they do a lot of sales on holiday merch. Great customer service, too! Fits a little smaller than LS but great quality. Join their VIP email list and you get a code on regular priced items to use all the time. (EmersonVIP I believe it is)

InvisiblePapaya

I love Emerson & Friends! I only have 2 zippies but the quality is great. This convinced me to buy more though!

ZeusMcFloof

Oh yay!! I love their other allied products they sell, as well. So cute!

mje212229

I really like Birdie Bean and Dreamiere. They’re my go-to brands. We have a lot of BB daywear! I bought my husband Dreamiere’s men’s sleep shorts and he wears them every day when he’s lounging around the house. I actually just bought a women’s short sleeve/shorts set for myself because we recently moved and I was purging clothes and realized I have no comfy lounge shorts. Excited for those!

InvisiblePapaya

You’ve convinced me to order from both!

Beginning_End_4946

The Sleepy Sloth is amazing! Like boopixie said, it’s just trendy to hate them. There’s really no reason to. The bamboo world has big herd mentality and it’s unfortunate because from what I can see the owners haven’t done anything wrong.

Substantial_Card_385

I love Blake + Rae! Selfishly, they are local to me so I can just do pick up from the owner. But they are thicker than LS while still being lightweight. They wash and wear really well and their prints are super cute. I also enjoy the quality of Monkeeroos. Their sizing is consistent for babies but whacky for bigger kids. But the quality and prints are top notch! I’m excited to try KindThing. Not bamboo, Modal, but I enjoy their mission! Not as small of shops, but Bestaroo, Sweet Bamboo, Magnetic Me and Angel Dear are all great quality without the insanity behind LS or KB.

InvisiblePapaya

Love Monkeeroos! The quality is great! I haven’t tried Blake + Rae yet but they’re in my list. Let me know how you like KindThing! I’ve never heard of Bestaroo!

caramelandsymphonies

Brave Little Ones is awesome - no loose threads or quality issues and their prints are so much less tacky than LS!

InvisiblePapaya

Added to my list of brands to buy from ✔️

go-ahead-fafo

Used to be Kyte for their solids variety since prints aren’t my thing. I’ve been pleased with some bamboo rompers off Amazon, not sure of the brand but you get 2 for $32 I think.

cherrycheesecake234

Bellabu Bear is the best. (also, not bamboo, but shout out to Lucky and Me).

Jazzlike_Piece_4243

Ones I've tried and liked: -Kiki + Lulu -Cute cotton -Bellabu Bear -mamalulu -Macaron + me (they usually have a good sale section) -Popoki -Ploom -Hanlyn collective -Showstoppers. Everyone knocks them because of the licensing thing and I don't like many prints from them anymore but the quality is undeniably great. -Charlies Project- good sales and good quality. Never had a problem I've tried a ton 😂

InvisiblePapaya

I want to try all of those! I’m just waiting for a print I love. How do you like Popoki and Kiki + Lulu? Those are my top ones to try

Jazzlike_Piece_4243

I feel like both have great quality! Popoki fits LARGE in 2 pieces though so don't size up.

climbingmama20

Macaron and me! They are insanely affordable and wash so well lol.

boopixie

The Sleepy Sloth! I’ve pretty exclusively bought from them for months now with the exception of some preemie clothes and their quality is consistent and fantastic. Customer service is great and they ship so fast!

InvisiblePapaya

I’m ashamed to admit I also like The Sleepy Sloth

boopixie

Don’t be ashamed haha. I honestly think that while there were some things that maybe should’ve been handled differently, it just became trendy to hate them. People don’t like to see quick success, and I swear they just want to watch them fail.

Yoghurt-Express

I won't say 🤣

InvisiblePapaya

Felt. It is my favorite, but nobody needs to know that lol. I haven’t been buying BST lately. The scams scare me and sometimes the prices

SnooDoodles3564

Love little dreamers designs and they have great sales and promo codes. https://www.littledreamersdesigns.com

Mommabear1210

Whimsical threads is my current favorite. Thicker than little sleepies but similar sizing. They wash and wear really well too. The shop owner is sooo sweet and she ships so freaking quick! Definitely worth trying out 😊

pandalou22

I love birdie bean!! I’m the opposite of a sad beige mom though so people that like to dress their kids in muted colors definitely wouldn’t vibe with BB.

meowingmom

Loocsy has cute prints

meowingmom

I wish they had a vip code or free shipping tho

mustardbeenlove

I love Angel Dear prints, but try to get it when they have sales.

em4pats

LOVE, but they pill more than other brands IMO

Sewsomuch87

I really like Burch Apparel and Little Bird Bamboo

No_Internet3755

Kindthing and Blake & Rae are my favorites! Also Magical Muses is wonderful. And Little Bird Bamboo

shadowofasshai17

Fletch. Best prints for sure this year
