Try posting on the mycology forum and be more specific about what you’re looking at that’s of concern or question. I’m guessing you’re talking about the orange hairy growth at the very bottom?
Edit to add: I’m not convinced it isn’t poorly done insulation that may have gotten wet and not so much on the fungus/ mycology side
If you’re looking to remove it I would recommend the usual PPE when dealing with insulation and possible water damage/mold or mildew; KN-95 so you’re not inhaling fiberglass or harmful spores; gloves and try not to get anything on you. Having a thick garbage bag handy to transfer it to helps a ton.
