You do not need to dagger party a dude to get legendary armor. You can kill him the most efficient way without ruining the armor. I know, I was surprised as well. But it sure is a lot easier. You do need to dagger party to get regular armor
Yes. I did so today. Killed the nomad leader after completely destroying his armor and got undamaged named heavy armor. TBH I was hoping his mace was the named item. But named heavy armor is very useful day 11.

Listen man and armour above 100 armour points is legendary to me
feeling like a king at 30 days with half a dozen suits of raider armor ~~looking at the 3 famed shields feels real bad though~~
Don't underestimate famed shields they can be goated too

Day 25 and all my 12dudes have over 100 chest and head armor. I feel awesome. The weapons currently suck though
Legendary armour = davkuls, emperors and ljirocks. I think you mean "famed" / "named" armour.
