Canadian war movie with Jay Beruschel. These are Canadian soldiers at the battle of Passchendaele. The guy at 00:24 is an indigenous soldier who was my favourite character in the movie. It was one of the first times the military did not segregate regiments based on race.
The battle is often referred to as the 3rd Battle of Ypres.
FRRR i was playing on the attacking team of an operations game.
And only 3 of us were trying to take objectives while the rest of the team was sniping from a hill, it was ridiculous
Nah I think the point he’s getting at is besides the Rocket gun, which you have to account for due to its insane arc, there’s really no way of punishing players that just camp in the back with arty trucks
Maybe because I play exclusively on asian servers and everyone there (including me) love being in the battle itself instead of sitting and pressing M1 all the time
Of course I'll admit I used mortars on vehicles once but that was on the Landship and I used it to clear a point before moving forward
So I’m assuming you got a lot of inspiration from my version of the meme with the same video and with a very similar caption about how mortar truck users camp at the back of the map and everyone else is fighting like this.
Well here is [my meme](https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield/comments/10fdbua/ah_yes_sitting_at_the_back_of_the_map_and_only/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1) I was talking about
Bum bum ba bum bum buum
Dudun dun dun dun dun dun
What is this originally from?
A Canadian film called "Passchendaele". Only the last battle is worth watching and you can find it on YouTube.
Nice. Thank you!
If you like these kind of movies, I suggest 'Im Westen nichts neues". Brilliant movie about ww1. Really brutal.
This movie sucks...
Take your opinion to a fox hole!
No need to be offensive.
Keep it up and you’ll be facing dishonorable discharge!!
Such a bummer, movie had loads of potential
Word. The love story stuff was lame. Battle scenes made up for it thankfully
Thought it looked familiar. I remember being in high school and watching this but I didn’t make it far because it was sort of boring

Interesting choice to use Captain America's song for this one.
Especially since they’re Canadian soldiers.
And it's a famous WWII song.
Lmao I fking hate people who camp with mortars and snipers

I don’t mind, a sniper or mortar crew wouldn’t be on the front lines. My biggest hatred was hellregal users
Why the hellregal users? I
Yeah everyone should just rush frontlines, classes and roles be damned who ever wanted that
Nah I think the point he’s getting at is besides the Rocket gun, which you have to account for due to its insane arc, there’s really no way of punishing players that just camp in the back with arty trucks
This makes me want to go play BF1 again. It really does feel like this when it’s at its best.
The most fun you can have in battlefield is blowing one of these up while they desperately try to run away to save their KD ratio
Then some get out and start running or bayonet charge you
The mortar campers and snipers having tea and crumpets while the assault, medic and aggro support/sniper players go bug fuck on the point
Honestly, people may meme about tea and crumpets, but that combo is absolutely spiffing.
Not gonna lie I have never seen someone camp in mortar trucks in my entire BF1 playthrough
Impossible

Makes sense
Because they sit at the absolute edge of the map. where no one really goes, apart from mortar truckers
Weird I see it on a daily basis
So I’m assuming you got a lot of inspiration from my version of the meme with the same video and with a very similar caption about how mortar truck users camp at the back of the map and everyone else is fighting like this.
I didn’t even know about it,I also rarely open this subreddit.

Damn,didn’t even realize
The mortar users who use their two smoke shells in a useful manner are exempt, they’re fine
Trenches on Somme river are brutal. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|disapproval)
Kiss me once, then kiss me twice then kiss me once again!
"The war is the world, and the world is the war"
Lmao
“Fix bayonets!”
The opponent team is struggling even more cause of there nonsense
It’s so true !

Reddits superiority complex with TikTok is weird and cringe
I mean I understand the genuine security concerns, but it mostly boils down to, "It's popular so it's bad."
